Hime's developing nicely. She's much more energetic, doesn't laze around that much any more and seems to actually walk around for real when she leaves the premises. She's mostly outside now and rarely in the house, but I appreciate her presence very much when I come home and just want to roll up on the fur and she snuggles up against me. Never got so much female attention before in my life (ha ha ha...)

Happy to hear you managed a good night's sleep. Decent rest is an important foundation for getting things done. Decent food is a close second. Also glad that you did not "fall off the horse" as you say, despite your tribulations.

Thank you, Trbrat75, Lady Celerity, Anek and mavie, you're all so kind. I had another good night's rest, this time of normal length and opened shop/went back to work today. I'd say I'm back to normal, so things are looking bright again. If that should happen again, though, I might have to see the good ol' doctor.

I haven't continued Ironheart, yet. Maybe I won't tomorrow, either. The break seems too long. I'm considering experimenting mit Kettlebells until I want to start my new plan, just because Lady Celerity mentions the workouts often enough and I really like doing swings...

I must have placed an order for the shop when I was absent-minded because of the tiredness on Friday, but I got some supplies today. There was a rifle I apparently ordered for a customer. It was pink. I have falsely ordered a pink rifle. This is the second pink weapon I have ordered this year. Why do manufacturers even produce pink weapons? Is there a market for this? Apparently. But still. Pink. idk.

Thanks for checking in, Trbrat75, I had a few bad days but are back again in high spirits

For some odd reason, I didn't sleep from Thursday to Friday, and it went downhill from there. I usually sleep like a log, so that was very new thing to me. I somehow survived work on Friday, but had a harsh crash of mood and energy levels when I got home. Couldn't sleep the night after either. Stopped eating on Friday because of the exhaustion and tiredness. Ate next to nothing for the following days and didn't sleep, either. Caused me to swing between high bouts of energy (because not eating) and low levels of energy (because not sleeping). Bad cravings started to kick in because I couldn't deal with this unknown situation and I ended up a complete mess over the weekend. Still worked out, somehow, though. I just don't really know what, because I didn't log those. Witnesses tell me I probably did cardio stuff. Yesterday, I decided on a whim to do the Burpees for the Christmas tree. Did 200 of them spread out over the day. I didn't even know I could do so many.
In the early evening I went for a walk with my other half and Fitz and when we stopped for a moment when Fitz sniffed a tree or something I blanked out. Or so I was told.
I woke up today around three o' clock in the afternoon.
This never happened to me and I hope it will be the last time. I can deal with a lot of stuff, even with one night with next to no sleep if I have something to focus on, but this was wild.
I'm going to resume my log from today, but at least I know I didn't fell off the horse during the last days.

I like the new plan. I think it is easier to stick with activities we intrinsically enjoy, rather than stuff we feel we should do, for whatever reason. And, in the end, consistency wins every time and the best workout is the one we actually do!

And that's it. Against better judgment I had a mug of flavoured mulled wine last night my mother-in-law bought. It wasn't even enough to get me remotely lit, but it messed me up pretty bad today. I forgot that my body has a strange aversion against exactly that. Didn't feel like hangover, but boy was I tired and exhausted, didn't feel like eating and my legs and head hurt. Slept for hours on the fur in front of the fireplace when I got home and only did some stretching an hour ago.
Now, bed.

Sounds like a good plan. Go for it…

Thanks for the workouts, Lady Celerity. There are a lot of exercises in them I'm going to get laughed at doing them, though

Ironheart 16

It's not much, I know. I had a long, long talk with my other half last night, about my dissatisfaction with working out and managing my time. And yes, I complained about Ironheart a lot again. With the side job I struggle a bit getting everything done, and working out is the first thing that gets cut. Well, the second, I already cut learning Chinese, which pains me a lot. On the other hand, I "waste" a lot of time with my instruments and trying to come up with ideas to generate more income in the store.
I think Darebee programs are a bit of hit and miss for me. Some obesessive part of me wants to get the badges, another part gets bored, and the last part is too busy analysing them. I usually end up looking at my scheduled workout and going meh.
So, here's what we came up with yesterday:
Plan for the nest two weeks:
-I'm going to finish Ironheart so I can complain more about it and amuse the people around me
-I drop Fit December for no other reasons than me being bored and mostly doing hall passes. I should just do jumping jacks every day instead
-I'll try tackling Hime down two more days to finish the challenge with her. Only two days...
-I continue rowing, because I came to like it and enjoy my 15-30 minutes listening to music while rowing with my eyes closed
-I'll try incorporating more kettlbebell swings
Plan for after Ironheart:
-After Ironheart, I'm backing away from the weights for a month and do Cardio Go. I liked the program a lot when I did it the last time. No other reason than me wanting to do it.
-I do a bit of classic calisthenics instead of weight-lifting
-Maybe I do single Darebee workouts if I'm in the mood for it
-I continue rowing whenever I want to
-More Kettlebell swings

I'll see how that goes. I'll be done with my side job by Christmas, so there's a bit more time in the day.
