Some good advice even in a non brain related sense. 11 hours of sleep per night though? Is that a suggestion to become a vampire?

Thank you, mavie, Fremen, Trbrat75 (had to smile at the post number, too), Lady Celerity, mh_logic, bdthom and @Anek!

I'm thinking about doing a restart of the 100 KB swings a day and the negative pull-ups (AGAIN). But thanks to my back/shoulder I fell off a bit...

    Day 371
    50 Squats a Day Challenge Day 24
    Cardio Blast Day 1

On two positive notes, my shoulder/back "fixed" itself with a loud pop by accident and is mostly okay now. Feels sore, though.
And everything's as right as can be with my brain. Doctor's thought my right eye doesn't react as fast as the left one, but he's not sure. I got advised to use my brain more, like exercise. As if I wouldn't... The amusing thing is, I got a small booklet with things to help my brain stay healthy and fit and some items on the list were weird, funny, or outright bizarre, for example:

-Drink lots. WATER! NO ALCOHOL! WATER! (This was written in huge capital letters, underlined, bold and with three exclamation marks)
-Don't smoke, don't do drugs no matter how much you feel you need to (I thought it was weird that this was emphasised)
-Don't use computers if you can avoid it
-Always write with a fountain pen. NO BÌRO! NO PENCILS! NO CRAYONS! (who writes with crayons? Why was there a need to emphasise that?)
-Exercise daily. Focus on strength and endurance. Avoid team sports (fair enough, don't get the second part, though)
-Learn to play the violin. At least learn the piano (why only those two?)
-Learn a language with a different alphabet you don't need (okay? I guess it should help to build discipline or something)
-Learn a new skill every year of your life. Focus on skills that use your hands and your creativity (good tip, I guess)
-Don't use cosmetic products. You're beautiful the way you are (printed with a smiley. Sounds a bit like mom-science to me, but at least I got a compliment out of it)
-Get a reasonable amount of sleep. 6-11 hours should be enough (that's a rather big time frame)

    And my favourite:
-Don't watch American movies (I didn't get this one, but it gave me a good laugh)

Good thing: Days like today are usually a hassle and lead to big fights, but they usually always end on a nice tone. Today was no exception.

Thanks for the well-wishes, mh_logic, Trbrat75, huma amd Anek, still taking it easy, though. The pralinés have a whisky-cream filling, very delicious

    Day 370
    50 Squats a Day Challenge Day 23
Easy Abs Challenge Day 30 (lost a number somewhere)

Yearly brain screening tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous, because I felt like I forgot more than usual over the past months and had some weird mess-ups in common day-to-day activities. Other things got better, though, I think.

Good thing: It was sunny all day long, so we spend a lot of time outside, working around the house
