Hi! a good day- morning cardio+ calisthenics (NEVER skip fasted cardio, don’t sandbag it ) then did a new approach on my metcon- actually did some longer hiit (around little over 1 hour) with more plyo calisthenics and burst weights, mostly medium load Olympic lifts and composites with both barbell and db and kb. time spread used was about 2min (for more difficult stages of Olympic lifts or hard calisthenics) to 30sec for max effort plyos. Then went for muay thai in afternoon, afterwards did 5 rounds of rope+ weights (kb 24kg and my norm spread of skips for around 120-100 depending on type) for extra conditioning. So today did all in all again about 3,5h of workout but in different spread to norm of metcon day, cant really say was this more difficult (prolly not just different) but a very good and hard day of exercise all in all. Metcon is just so,mething you want to double down and grind trough if you want some good upgrade to your real life gas tank, upgrading your stamina. BTW however I found the rope and kb conditioning to be actually more challenging (lol ofc) after the muay thai session, so I consider keeping this as a staple form of metcon. Also doing heavy spar and padwork before really amps up your lower body (calves mostly) for more rapid switches of rope technique, I got in much better switches in both boxer and double under skips. Also they felt more XD all in all a really good day full of good workouts.
On muay thai I really wanted to double down on my muay mat style- something I grow more and more fond of. Even tough I do modify classic muay mat to include more range control and clinch, I still find it hilarious how people react to my angle cut uppercuts (lol I can always imagine being Rodtang XD). The thing with close range uppers is to angle them in a slight sidewards angel form your centerline so you can 1.amp up the power from hip rotation and 2. gain the ability to guardbreak even in clinch range with hands only. Anyhow if any of you reading do martial arts, I just wanna encourage you to experiment with styles, but embrace the one that feels your own.

Oh: Did you know, that Ivan the Terrible of Russia and Mary I of England oversaw the creation of the first joint-stock international company in history: the Muscovy Company, founded in 1551. The company oversaw all trade between the countries for over a hundred years, and mainly focused on Baltic trade of furs and grain. Russia was isolated at the time, and as such, wanted the English support for their trade. In exchange for this, the English gained vast privileges in the trade in the area. The company members also visited the Novaya Zemliya, the first westerners to do so. It was also during this time the first Russian style icons arrived in Engald, a style greatly admired by the court and which affected the style of English silversmithing afterwards. The company also oversaw the very first codified free exchange of international labor between tow nationalized companies (shipbuilders and smiths) in 1555. (Dimitrieva, 2006)
You know what? You rock, so keep it on you fine folks!

Hello! Hope you had a good day! I certainly did and whoa it was full of stuff XD morning cardio, then leg day, then prepped uni stuff and after that went for mma session and did some extra conditioning after that XD so yeah now im absolutely wrecked, gosh I love these days of packed awesomeness my leg day was based around the main max effort of squat-deadlift-jump squat heavies and then a medium stand-alone (38kg for lunge twists and a tri-set of farmer carries and tuck jumps combo). Then did tri-sets with heavy kb for endurance and then a tri set x3 of bulgar plyo- hip thrust- calf rise. walked the deadlift and squat sets to 4rm (96kg and 80kg), jump squat straight sets. felt the dl had gotten bit better (lol 96 is not a very good score universally but fine by me, not trying pb 1rm XD) tho I still like to do sumo stance when possible, feels more stable. In mma we had a real nice session of both bjj and standing sparring plus drills and pad work. Afterwards I grabbed a heavy rope and a kb and did around 25min of extracurricular conditioning in form of rope+ weights and bodyweight plyos. So all in all a real tough but real fun day. Now im very tired again but also very happy. one of the positives of working out very hard daily is that you can fall asleep in evening very fast, no need for bedtime rolling around
?: Did you know, that the Khitan tribes (of norther China, around 400 ad-1200 ´s) were particularly good in combining the administration and rule sets of both nomadic and sedentary empires. The controlled parts of Mongolia and North china, and could effectively adapt to the demands of both of the areas. The built large manufactories and upheld vast herds of livestock, creating a “nomad state” as has been called. This was the first time in recorded history that a single dynasty held rule in both of the regions, and was a ble to develop both simultaneously. They ruled both lands in according to different customs, but could still hold onto power and dominate the politics of the region before the Mongols. For instance, Chinese language was banned in Khitan court- but also Chinese philosophy was encouraged in the Chinese areas. The Khitan empire was, in effect, the first dual-state (in where two crowns are unified in a single court), and perhaps on of the most stable domains in such form. (Twitchett, 1994. Xu, 2005)
                  Have a fine day yall!

mavie thanks i just feel writing all the uni stuff is enough time in word for me right now, so thats why im not going to dedicate more time from my evenings for darebee posts, at least during weekdays well, perhaps i can always wish for 25th hour for a day xD

You fit things in where you can, and writing a daily Darebee thread is not really very important if there are many other things craving your attention. We'll hear from you when we hear from you. A thesis can be quite absorbing and time-consuming.
