    Ten days into an experiment

    Happy Friday Darebees,
I thought I should share the details of an experiment I am conducting... For the month of June, I decide to follow the training schedule below:

    Every Day (about 45 minutes)
    1. Warm up: 10 minutes stationary bike at 28 kph & 85 rpm
    2. DB Cardio & Core Challenge with a twist: A tabata session of 4 x 30 sec climbers + 4 x 30 sec high knees with 15 sec rest between intervals and 30 sec rest between sets
    3. Kettlebell Trio: A tabata session with 4 x 30 sec of each of slingshot, halo, and goblet squat. Again, 15 sec rest between intervals, and 30 sec rest between exercises
    4. 22 Day Pectoral Development: a non-Darebee program to increase number of non-stop push-ups by 50%.
    4. DB Daily Dare w/EC
    5. Cool down: 10 minutes stationary bike at 28 kph & 85 rpm

In addition, I am alternating between a road run (tempo, interval, medium, long) and a virtual ride (tempo, interval, medium, long) on a daily basis. On average, I have been training for 90 min to 2 hrs a day. Let's see if my 57-yr old body can sustain this for a month and if I get to celebrate my birthday in a better physical shape than I have had before. :-)

Cheers, and have a great weekend.

Good luck to you! You have a plan more rigorous than many sub-57 years old, especially because it's daily.
