    Hello everyone!

    I have been working from home for the past year and have become even more sedentary than before. I've gained weight and lost energy. I've finally decided I'm ready for a change. I'm up to a 62 day streak on MyFitnessPal and am slowly losing weight. I'm also on Day 10 of the Square One Program and am trying to go on walks more often, still working up to walking every day. I've started and stopped the Foundation programs a few times over the past few years, and I'm hoping the accountability of the community will help me pull through to complete my first full program this time!

            Thanks for the warm welcome!

            I started the Yoga program yesterday evening after all. Today I tried to do day 2 and couldn't get through it with the thin yoga mat I have. Too much weight on my knees and hands was painful. I ordered an extra thick exercise mat to arrive tomorrow, so hopefully I can pick it back up then. We'll see how it goes! If it's still too painful/uncomfortable, I may have to pause that until I'm in better shape.

                Feeling great on the workout side, feeling discouraged on the food/weight side.

                For workouts I'm already looking forward to the next program(s) and am enjoying feeling my body move and the slight soreness from exercising again. I got the thicker mat and it worked great for yoga.

                On the food side, there were a few days over the weekend where I went well over my calorie goal, and since then I've been feeling hungry all day and it's been more of a struggle to stay within my goals. I'm hovering right around 10 pounds lost but my weight fluctuates enough that I don't quite feel like I've reached that milestone yet. I have over 100 pounds to lose so I'm trying to keep it slow and steady and also focusing on smaller targets (first 10 pounds, then 25, etc) to keep the goals in sight. It's just been challenging because it is moving so slowly, but I know from past experience that trying to rush it is unhealthy for me.

                I'm hoping that continuing the workouts will both help with weight loss and give me additional challenges to focus on. I'm a little bit competitive and like to tick off every box, so the programs are very motivating for me.

                  It's my 3 year wedding anniversary today and I am in the best mood!

                  Really feeling it in my arms and legs after today's workouts. This was a tough day! I need more practice with the meditation in Yoga, but for now I appreciated the break.

                              Day 15, I earned my first badge!

                              Woke up today and did my workouts first thing before breakfast. I've been doing them during my lunch break this past week (I work from home) but I wanted to get it done first thing today so I wouldn't miss it on the weekend. Feels great to have it done with the whole day ahead of me.
