PetiteSheWolf , running 4-5 times a week I only had to add an evening walk on the other days to get to 10k steps, but there's no time for that anymore.
Midday
-- 10 min warmup run
-- 25 min: 15 sec fast run, 15 sec slow run
-- 5 min cooldown run
-- stretching
Stress management:
I woke up in a very bad mood, but I felt much better after getting some urgent tasks done.
Wednesday, June 1
Late afternoon
-- 50 min run
-- stretching
Evening
-- Day 1 of Plank Hero | shoulder taps | lvl III
-- Day 10 of Strength Protocol | back & biceps | pull-ups | with a bit of cheating (putting my feet on the ground for a short second), I managed two proper pull-ups after one another! (And then a half more)
-- Day 13 of Power Up (Σ: 27 min)
Stress management:
Today was a roller coaster, but I decided to pat myself on the back for being productive and to award myself with a tick.
Stress management:
Far from a perfect day, I had to do two days worth of work done in one day. That meant being sedentary all day, which doesn't help raise energy levels. But I didn't become impatient and stayed productive, so I think I did well!
This weekend we went to the place where we'll have this year's Tolkien camp. There were some workshops, but the main goal was team building among the organisers.
Stress management:
I kept a good balance between interacting with people to build relationships and allowing my introverted self to rest.
Monday, June 6
Afternoon
-- 3 km walk
Night
-- Days 4-6 of Plank Hero | 10 plank arm raises, 10 side bridges, 10x plank into lunge
-- Day 13 of Strength Protocol | shoulders, chest & triceps | well, I can't do an L-sit, but I did… something
-- Day 16 of Power Up (Σ: 26 min)
Stress management:
I allowed myself not to work today and spent time with my boyfriend's family, then, in the evening, on organising another event of the society. There was some stress eating, but oh well, I can't be too strict with myself.
With the Hungarian Tolkien Society's 20th anniversary celebrations coming up and with having to work more now because I'll work less in the next two months (hardly matters though. food is getting ridiculously expensive), I barely have any time. I'll try to post here more often though, just because the Hive is such a nice and relaxing place.
Friday, June 17
Before breakfast
-- Hestia | with EC
Afternoon
-- 50 plank knee-ins | Day 16 of Plank Hero
-- 50 elbow plank leg raises | Day 17 of Plank Hero
-- Day 18 of Strength Protocol | back & biceps | pull-ups
-- Day 22 of Power Up (Σ: 48 min)
Evening
-- 35 min walk
Stress management:
So. Many. Things. To. Do. I could barely fall asleep because of stress.
Saturday, June 18
Morning
-- 20 min jog
Midday
-- 50 elbow plank shoulder taps | Day 18 of Plank Hero
-- Day 19 of Strength Protocol | legs
-- Day 23 of Power Up (Σ: 30 min)
Late afternoon
-- Calamity | lvl I | 1 min rest
Evening
-- 40 min walk
Stress management:
I managed my time very well! Without spending too much time on a single project in one sitting, but making good progress on everything that's urgent. I should've rested more though.
Morning
-- 10 min warmup run
-- 30 min: 15 sec fast | 15 sec jog
-- 5 min cooldown run
Stress management:
I was moody and frustrated because of lack of time.
Tuesday, June 22
Afternoon
-- 70 min run | race pace
Stress management:
I started the day so stressed, that I had much more waffles for breakfast than I should've, and I was still very full by the time I should've had lunch.
But I'm finally caught up with work, and the day ended with a lovely dnd session, so it was all fine by the end!
Stress management:
I'm getting better at turning stress into action and avoiding avoidance.
Still, I just want to survive this week. The four-day celebration of the Society's 20th birthday would be tiring in itself, but as a main organiser, it's exhausting… My boyfriend (also one of the main organisers) is worried that the whole team will be so stressed about it, that none of us will be able enjoy the event itself.
This was supposed to be a 2 hour run, but I was short on time, stressed and also it was my fifth consecutive day of running (or sixth if I count last Saturday's short jog). I had to switch up the days so because I'll be away from home for most of the next three days, and I don't want to skip any runs when it's a marathon I'm training for.
Stress management:
Baking cookies doesn't go well even with mild stress (the cookies are fine, my body on the other hand suffered from the excess sugar I happened to consume), but I still think I did rather well considering how busy the day was.
