My friend is on an IR diet and so we were very happy to find that there was a sugar-free patisserie right next to the board game store we went to. I had a slice of paleo walnut cake and she had an ischler which she hadn't had the opportunity to enjoy since she had to start the diet.

      I hate it when people mention cakes and such in their threads because I have to look them up. Ischler - biscuits with jam between smothered in chocolate. Oh my, what's not to love there? Guess that's something else I'll have to add to my give-it-a-go baking list.

        Phew, the past few days have been filled with work. It's lucky that regular exercise has become a habit for me, or else I would've completely neglected it. My boyfriend, on the other hand, is thriving! Of the two of us, I've always been the one to get up early and he stayed in bed as long as he could allow himself to. But now he gets up at most only half an hour later than I do, and he either goes for a walk or for a run, makes breakfast, changes the cat's litter, reaches his daily Duolingo target -- all before his workday (which is less flexible than mine) begins! Adding structure to his days, paying attention to regular exercise and a healthy diet pays off though, I can see that even though all these forming habits take away a lot of his free time, he has more energy and is generally in a better mood (though he wasn't grumpy before either).

              That's right, especially if the amount of work you do directly affects the amount of money you earn. But hopefully soon I'll be able to earn more money for less work and then I won't have to work all day every Saturday and Sunday.

                      Yesterday I went to celebrate Mabon with the Hungarian Tolkien Society. It was lovely, there were very few of us there, maybe 10 people in total. We had a campfire, lots of food and beautiful tales and poems about autumn. Unfortunately I only heard the first novella that was read there because I wanted to get home before 10 pm (I was and still am sooo tired!). Another girl took the opportunity to leave with me because she (understandably) didn't want to walk alone in the pitch dark forest. We were almost late for the bus though! It wouldn't have been that much of a problem, another one would've come in thirty minutes -- but I really wasn't in the mood to sit there for that long. So we ran to catch the bus and we must've made quite a sight to the driver, running out of the dark forest like two madwomen...
