It sounds like an epic walk. The map seems interesting in a workout context as well.

Gandhalfit Baryl Thank you! I really enjoyed yesterday's walk, looking forward to doing the rest!

        Workout:
Went hiking with a friend, we did 6.53 km. I took a bike there and back, which amounts to ‚Äč7.02 km. Pretty cool day.

        Meditation:
        1-minute meditation challenge (24/30).

Woke up at 9.33 am - not that happy about that. Not sure if I overslept my alarm or if I didn't set it the day before.

          Workout:
Unplugged Lvl 1. I switched stretching day with running because my legs started to hurt a bit so I needed an active rest. I'll focus on finishing From Walking to Running this week (7 days left), I think I can combine a couple of days and just be done. (:

          Meditation:
          1-minute meditation challenge (25/30).

          Woke up at 9.23 am.

10 min earlier wake up each day is actually a good way to train yourself without feeling SO awful

motionaction Try putting your alarm in a room adjacent to where you sleep. This will make you have to get up and physically walk over to turn it off which may do the trick waking you up. It works for me.

DorothyMH Baryl - thanks for the tips, and support! I am familiar with these, the only problem is, of course, me. I can put my alarm across the room or even into another room and my morning brain is completely fine with turning it off, going back to bed, and sleeping, which is a bit embarrassing. (: I worked on a cruise ship (before corona), and sometimes we'd change a lot of time zones in a couple of days, so I had to wake up an hour earlier every other day (and reverse that on the way back) and I didn't really mind it. The thing that kept me awake in the morning was that I had a reason to get up. Now, when I'm my own boss and scheduler, I can work whenever. Also, I am a light sleeper (ex heavy insomniac) and I sometimes wake up at random hours during the night. I do relaxing techniques to fall asleep and it works most times but not all of the times. Step by step. (: Today it dawned on me that I'll have to switch to morning workouts by summertime because the weather will be too hot and I'll probably want to hang out with friends in the evening. So here's my new reason. I woke up at 8.57 am today.

                Workout:
Had a really enjoyable 3.12k evening run.

                Meditation:
                1-minute meditation challenge (26/30).
                .

                  Workout:
                  Ran 2.43 km

                  Meditation:
                  1-minute meditation challenge (27/30).

Woke up at 6.57 - my goddamn cat woke me up (here's my reason to get out of bed).

I'm the same with alarm clocks, my apartment isn't very big but even if I put the phone on the far end across from the bedroom.. walkover, turn it off, go back to bed My cat is happy to put me back to sleep tough Maybe I should not refill her food bowl at night so that's she's whiny in the morning...

                      Workout:
Walked 2k today and I'm going on a night walk with a friend, so I'll tell you tomorrow how far we went. (:

                      Meditation:
                      1-minute meditation challenge (28/30).

                          Workout:
Repeated Hamstring Mobility Workout - I started to feel my legs hurting a bit because I mostly do lower body focused workouts so I decided to take it a bit easier. Today is my 45th consecutive day of exercise.

                          Meditation:
1-minute meditation challenge (30/30) - DONE! (: I'll continue with meditation and before I tackle the other meditation challenge here, I'll do 20 days of 2-minute Google Fit breathing exercises guided by my smartwatch (:

Woke up at 7.57 am - day 15, as much as I struggle some days, waking up earlier has become easier. For now, waking up around 8ish is fine with me but my ultimate goal is to move that to 6ish. Going all in.

My next thing to work on is my work focus. I've been procrastinating a bit with this and I want to do 1 "big" thing a day for my current project.
