        Sat-Mon weren't really my days and I barely forced myself to even do those Lower Back Workouts but I wanted to keep the streak going. I wanted to do my boxing workout yesterday but this guy showed up at the punching bag and we had an interesting interaction. In the beginning we agreed we'd exchange sessions, one session for me, one for him. This is something I'll always agree to, since the gym is a shared space and no one actually owns the equipment. However, he kept interrupting my sessions with his "advice". I don't really mind people talking to me at the gym but I really wasn't in the mood, and I'm fairly busy so I don't want to waste time and I don't appreciate lessons I didn't ask for. Not that I have to apologize for anything or explain myself to anyone. He saw that I wasn't in the mood but kept bothering anyway and he kept saying he's sorry to bother me and I was standing there with my face saying: then why are you doing it? (: So I very politely told him that he can have the punching bag for himself and I left and did other workouts instead.
        I wanted to do the punching session today but of course he was there, so I realized that I need to find a different time to do boxing because I just want to do my workouts in peace. I decided to go for a run instead, and I ran my first sub 35min 5k! Granted it's on a treadmill and I think that's a bit easier. I want to run a sub 35min 5k on solid ground but the only place to do this on a ship is on the open deck where we have the designated running area. I'd have to run 30 laps (kill me now). Anyway, this also completes my 5k walking training, which I mostly ran anyway. I re-discovered my love for running and I'll try implementing it into my training routine. I guess I have to credit the boxing guy for that. (:
