It's great that you're feeling better! I entirely agree about pushing (gently) through when not feeling well. So glad you were able to!
Best of luck on your project.

Hello, everyone,
I would just like to express my deepest gratitude for your support. I've been able to process all of this and I've been hit with some sort of flu from Wednesday until basically today. I got tested again, still negative, so at least it wasn't covid. The funeral was very emotional but also very soothing and nice. I don't know what the wake protocol is in your cultures, but we went to a restaurant after and had tons of food (some family members had quite a few drinks as well), but it sort of lifted the mood, and everyone felt better afterward. She was the link who brought all of our families together and there we were together, again, for her. My grandma's having a blast at her sister's as well.
After that, I was basically sleeping through my virus contagion and watching movies and thinking. I'm feeling better today, I pushed through my first workout after a week and I felt weak but it's also a victory counted because I pushed through. Don't worry, I didn't push myself too hard. My sister and I also applied for a 5k run in September so I'll start training for that asap. I've decided that I won't break my streak this time, even though I was fully resting for 3 days (had a nice walk yesterday with my mom). I'll hit 60 days in 2 days and I'm really looking forward to upgrading my badge. I've found that small, repeated pleasures can really bring up a day. I've also been struggling to get anything done this week - actually it was completely off my mind - but now that I'm feeling better, I've decided to tackle this project fully and that I'll dedicate it to my auntie once it's done.
Thank you again for your kind response, I read every comment. Thank you for the comfort and support. I've been thinking about this topic on and off for days now and I'll probably continue to do so. Also, I'm quitting Dash! challenge for the foreseeable future, since I'll be going on some hiking trips in the next month and I really don't see how I can fit it into my schedule. I'm continuing with everything else. See you in 2 days. Thank you, again.

I'm so sorry for your loss
Thank you for your thoughtful post regarding the stigmas around mental health and suicide. I wish it were not so taboo to discuss and acknowledge when we or our loved ones are struggling.
