    SHOULD I TRY? WHAT IF... WHAT IF NOT...

    Hello there, I've recently found this amazing community and I must say that I'm really impressed of such a healthy and supportive human group you are.
    The thing is... I want to start... I wanna change my life... My dad and my grandfather died from COVID. I'm really depressed. I gained so much weight during the pandemic, All I do is lay on bed, work from the pc.. eat tons of junk food... and I hate it.
    hope to start sooner.
    Wish me luck, and I hope to write again next time after my first training.

    I know therapy has dome wonders for me. I would recommend it if you aren't talking to someone already. <3

        Yes start. Do not say one day, focus on day one! There is no time like now to start. It sounds like you are caught in an emotional loop. I would suspect that some of your eating is emotional reaction. So you need to break the cycle. Depression is like that. A person feels depressed and reacts to the depression with an unhealthy coping skill, then feels bad about it which triggers the depression and anxiety again. What I work with people to do is figure out what your triggers are. Once you know what your triggers are and they can be both physical or emotional, then a plan can be put together to help at the trigger point. You then move your mindset from reaction to response. Much different. I feel your pain on the loss, I have lost some people very close to me through this as well. You have a community that will support you, but you need to take the first step. Get out of bed and move, even a little bit is a step forward. Then start working on food choices. You can do it and you will, but your why has to be from within. You have to want to change the habits that led to this.
