Welcome to my journey!
I've encountered Darebee at the beginning of the first 2020 lockdown but wasn't able to grasp it or make it a habit. Now with 2021 my wife and I my determination to take things in our own hands and with the great help of friends I've almost worked out everyday since beginning of this year!
I'm very grateful that Darebee in its wholeness... it's a resource and community that I can wholeheartedly support. The goal, the messages, the workouts for really all fitness levels, the warmth of this community, fellow geeks... This is constantly firing me up!!!
And in case you're looking for a developer (little web, gamedev, server admin..) hit me up!!
My first goal that I would like to reach is one proper push up! Like in my life I've been able to do pushups before but never in proper form. While I work on that, I'd like to one-up my general fitness, get a little leaner, and work on my core and legs to prepare for the possibility to play Ultimate this year again (we'll see if and when the lockdown allows this).
I'll plan to update this training log every weekend to recap what I've accomplished over the week! Right now, I'm in the middle of:
- Core Strength
- Spellbound: I'm really enjoying this one. I do it together with 3 friends so we're not really fast in the progress. But we read out the texts together and it's just overall super awesome to see a RPG inspired workout!
- Easy Abs
- Pushup Challenge: every other day I do 3 sets of pushups in different easier variations
