    Welcome to my journey!

    I've encountered Darebee at the beginning of the first 2020 lockdown but wasn't able to grasp it or make it a habit. Now with 2021 my wife and I my determination to take things in our own hands and with the great help of friends I've almost worked out everyday since beginning of this year!
    I'm very grateful that Darebee in its wholeness... it's a resource and community that I can wholeheartedly support. The goal, the messages, the workouts for really all fitness levels, the warmth of this community, fellow geeks... This is constantly firing me up!!!
    And in case you're looking for a developer (little web, gamedev, server admin..) hit me up!!

    My first goal that I would like to reach is one proper push up! Like in my life I've been able to do pushups before but never in proper form. While I work on that, I'd like to one-up my general fitness, get a little leaner, and work on my core and legs to prepare for the possibility to play Ultimate this year again (we'll see if and when the lockdown allows this).

    I'll plan to update this training log every weekend to recap what I've accomplished over the week! Right now, I'm in the middle of:

    - Core Strength
    - Spellbound: I'm really enjoying this one. I do it together with 3 friends so we're not really fast in the progress. But we read out the texts together and it's just overall super awesome to see a RPG inspired workout!
    - Easy Abs
    - Pushup Challenge: every other day I do 3 sets of pushups in different easier variations

                Awww everyone, thanks for the warm welcome!! It's amazing how this inspiration and motivation from this community is snowballing. I'm hyped to workout, and this hype has already introduced others into homeworkouts or trying out darebee. I'm so excited of what the future holds!!

                    Alright!
                    The week is almost over and I'll post my first update

                    Progress:
                    Core Strength (Level 1, sometimes 2) Day 5, 8, 10, 16 (t'was so hard Q_Q), 17
                    Easy Abs Challenge 15 - 20
                    Daily Dares: 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th

                    Workouts:
                    Chest and Back Light
                    Pistol Squat Prep
                    Last Minute 2x
                    Unplugged
                    Over 9000

                    Other
                    Pushups 2x 3 Sets -- currently only Bottom to Top, not pushing up yet, still building the strength for that

                    Regarding my goal of a proper first pushup:
                    Currently I am doing sets of pushups in the proper plank position but only from top to bottom down. My problem is that I've done knee pushups before but with the elbows sticking out so now I am relearning it. What is also awesome now is that it hurts my wrist less!
                    But it still feels like I am far away from my goal x_x

                    Else this week felt nice! Every morning I put together my workout and I always do it in my lunch break. I really dislike working out in mornings and evenings I often have appointments that would disrupt my workout schedule. I feel really accomplished that I have a routine that I can stick to, and I really look forward to my workout every day.

                    Oh and I am also going strong on not drinking alcohol 2021!

                        and today's workout, no regrets (level 1)
                        Maybe logging it daily while doing it is actually less work, at least as long as I am doing them in my office i'll see what feels better

                          T'was a good monday workout I saw a little bit of an improvement in my pushup. Slowly and steady!

                              I got a bit of a stiff neck from the heel taps. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if I will just get used to it? Did the workout together with Bloodless Tukan :> Welcome to the hiiive!
