    Take your time and recover well

      So today I really wanted to dance and decided to try club style dancing (not that rubbish people think is club dancing) and I got started was a really basic step (here). It was weird without music but after I'd put on music and got about 2 minutes in I loosened up and it felt great.

      I want to get more manly in physical appearance (muscles basically) but I am not able to lift weight or do calisthenics but I have 5 mini bands and made a plan to get it all (honesty I was flabbergasted that I hadn't tried this b4), I joined the lightest and second lightest bands and can now do a lot of exercises that I wasn't able to.

      So this is what my plans looks like:
      15 minutes dance practice
      Self massage
      Band chest fly 50 reps per arm
      Straight arm pull down 50 reps per arm
      Split squat 50 reps per leg
      Band triceps push down 100 reps per arm
      Band biceps curl 50 reps per arm
      Band lateral raise 50 reps per arm

      And my diet will be slimming world styled

          Started shuffling again , took a risk that it won't end up hurting my back and I feel fine so that's good.
          I got a new song from the YouTube tutorial I followed, I was working on my running man and I have improved I think.
          I shot a video and for the first 10 seconds I was off beat but when I got onbeat I managed to hold it quite well, it's on my instagram (follow me if you have instagram @adrianbrogan92).

            So I want to get my muscles into better nick, in particular my V taper and abdominal muscles.
            Now I suck at sticking to workout plans so I'll do a bunch of random exercises in a upper/lower split. I think that'll work.

              I didn't shuffle today because there was supposed to be people coming to my granny's to do some work... they never turned up 😠

              Now I am sitting thinking about this summer shred and I was going to try HIIT training with the kettlebell and treadmill and burpees but I'm just after saving the 300 swings kettlebell challenge for 30 days.

              Now I had done this b4 but what has changed?
              I will be using a 6kg kettlebell not a 20kg kettlebell so I should, in theory, be able to do a 300 reps and recover fine but I dunno.

              NOW the summer shred starts on May 1 (this Saturday) and is running till September so... I mat do a 300 challenge for each month (May = swing, June = clean, July = jerk, August = Snatch).

              All with my little 6kg beastie and shuffling. I will be SO fit after these 4 months I'll not know what to do with myself πŸ˜€

                It's been a while but there's a reason; I sliced my finger and fainted and had to go to A&E. I now am unable to exercise till Monday when I get my paper stitches out.

                I had said I was going to start back at sword training (and I might) as wellas shuffling.

                        My stitches come off tomorrow.

                        Just watched a video by the B.U.F.F dudes and it inspired me to try getting some muscle on my 168cm 80kg frame.
                        So I took my measurements and health stats today and surprisingly I'm pretty semetrical except my quads (2 cm difference)

                        RHR 90 bpm
                        MHR 192 bpm
                        Body fat % 27.3
                        Muscle mass % 41.4
                        Bone mass % 8.1

                        shoulders 118 cm
                        Chest 100 cm
                        Belly 100.5 cm
                        Left upper arm 35 cm
                        Right upper arm 35 cm
                        Left forearm 27 cm
                        Right forearm 27.5 cm

                        Right thigh 52 cm

                          Today was rather wet but I did the test for the One Punch Man Challenge and I got level 2, 2km run, 20 sit ups, 20 push ups and 20 squats.

                          Starting tomorrow I will be doing 30 days straight of that and shuffling (hopefully)

                            I didn't do much today but in hindsight I could have gone for a walk or something.

                              One Punch Man Challenge day 2 done at level 1.
                              So after the workout I went for a walk to the beach and shot a new shuffle video with my new phone and It. Is. Noice (up on my Instagram).
                              Then a DJ I follow on Instagram released a new song and I decided to ask if I could use his music on my future videos (he said yes I can).
                              So now I'm going to eat some biscuits πŸ˜‹ and drink some water πŸ’§ with juice.

                                One Punch Man Challenge day 3 done at level 1 plus 2 pull ups.

                                I did the opm challenge run at 8km/h instead of 7.5k /h as with my bad feet I can't run for long periods of time without developing foot pain. Mum thinks its the shoes I am wearing so I am hoping to get a new brand pair.

                                I want to get to the stage were I can run at least 5k so I can enter a race, I think that would be fun, and I could wear saitamas costume, I'm kinda giddy thinking about it
