    I like the idea, Gandhalfit!

Gandhalfit, I am seriously considering how to put some type of AC in my appartment next year, been working on internet searches on it with dad thinking of next spring. Let's face it, it is getting worse whatever the reason is (man - we have to be reasonible, natural cycles, cities), and with my heart now I can afford even less to get overheated, and I may not always have the luxury to spend all summer in telecommuting! Our appartment block is from the 60es, and definitly not suited to in-wall ACs (specially since we still want to keep an homogeneous external aspect through the whole block). But there are some things now, with those parachute-fabric-type thingies that can close your window and allow for a mobile AC's exhaust pipe out... We're reading and comparing.

Sunday I did the cardiac coherence 3 times

Yesterday was an holiday, did yoga, 3 times cardiac coherence, balance asanas and shoulder stretches, and Arms and Abs challenge Day 16.

This morning did yoga, no mid-morning break, mid-afternoon break was balance asanas and shoulder stretches, and Arms and Abs challenge Day 17. Cardiac coherence already done twice.

At least you have a chance of rain when it's hot. But I think we have it better this year. It's not that hot (not like Europe) and there are AC's everywhere.

Thanks NancyTree, as far as I can check she doesn't seem harmed, but what a noise indeed!

And thanks Gandhalfit ; we have the sea right there but it is in the sun, so, ahem... nope here for this redheaded skin! There are swimming pools - one to the local spa / thalassotherapy center so verrrrrry expensive, and another one but need to drive. Oh well, luckily our house is well insulated and has good external shades, so it is still much better than being in Paris. And it is much better now, since today's rain. Phew.

Actually, I was pretty lucky - if I didn't walk out on Thursday, I walked out with my parents Friday very late (much past my usual bedtime, but let's say there was also a family reason I had to go walk with them, LOL. Silly parents, would I say) ; and yesterday I walked very early, before it was too hot, so ... yep, walked 6 days out of 7 despite the heat. Go me, LOL!

Yesterday simple yoga, and arms and abs challenge Day 13. I forgot completely the cardiac coherency, silly me!

Today good 30 mins yoga about spinal flexibility, Arms and Abs challenge Day 14, and Cardiac coherency already done twice.

Can you go swimming in a pool instead of walking? It could be a good enough temporary solution to exercising without worrying about heat.

    Good luck with the heat!

This morning Ying yoga - my shoulder and back were happy ; mid-morning break was balance and Arms and Abs D11 ; mid-afternoon break was at level I

I am probably not going to walk outside after work since we are again having a heatwave (and heart medicines and all that do not mix well with too hot temperature), and it may spread to tomorrow and Saturday (well, Saturday, if I get out after breakfast, that may be good). That may mess up with my 5,000 steps/day at least 6 days/week, but we will see. Thinking of adding a cardio exercise after work to compensate.

ETA news about Mademoiselle Luna. While my older bro was there with his dog, she didn't get much out (she avoided the dog), which suited me. Now she goes more in the garden ... which was fine by me as long as it is not too long and she doesn't go to other gardens. Well, in the previous days, this parisian gal has decided to show off to any other visiting cat in our garden, and we have heard twice scream and fight (shortly, but the scream... yikes) with a visiting cat - said cat rushing out of our garden, unhappy, and mademoiselle coming back inside, hairs so puffed up she looked like she had a mowhawk...
    I can imagine the cat-dialogues...
"That's my garden, you scumbag, run off!"
"What the heck? You're barely there three months of the year and you call it YOUR garden?"
    "MY garden!"
    "Dirty parisian!"
    "Provincial scumbag!"
    HISSSSSSS, YOWWWWWLLLL.....

    Thanks Froud!

Oh, forgot the week's summary : meditation 6 times last week, and walked more than 5,000 steps 6 days, so goals achieved!

Forgot to do the third cardiac coherency exercise yesterday evening, oops.
This morning Yoga with Adrienne, mid-morning break was balance asanas, shoulder asanas, and arms and Abs challenge day 8 (I missed writing this a few times, but I have done it daily so far). And cardiac coherency already twice today.
Mid-afternooon break was at level I

Finally not too enthusiastic about Adrienne, this month's program just doesn't click with me, and the other months available seem to have a bit too many days over 20 mins for managing. Not completely sure what I will do... Guess you will find out tomorrow, LOL.
