    A Squirrel Says What?

    Hi, I'm Lily and I'm a Squirrel.

I've spent years trying to get on the health bandwagon but it always seemed impossible. Now, at the ripe old age of 36, I've learned that I have AD/HD and severe anxiety. With the help of medication and understanding, I am less of a basket case and in a place where I can actually take care of myself.

So this Squirrel is on the run towards a leaner and stronger frame while mastering the art of food. Oh food, how I love and hate you.

    Let's see how this goes!

        Happy New Year!!

The goal for today is my arm day workout from my trainer and the Jump Start workout on the front page!!!

And all completed! I swear when it said 'jumping jacks' I had to literally tell my brain to get my fat tail off the ground. Jeeesh! This squirrel does not enjoy that activity. BUT WE DID IT!

Somehow it's already the 11th and it's been a struggle. Thankfully food and meal prep has been on point! But workouts - ugh. Exhaustion from night shifts sure takes it out of you. Ah well.

My goal is to do the thing tomorrow! I will master this. EVEN WITH NIGHT SHIFTS!

And then just like that it's March. I've Squirrelled. Yay for ADHD.

I let go of the trainer I took on a few months ago as we had agreed I'd start at a lower rate until I could do the full amount. However my husband has been laid off for the year due to Covid so I feel as if the trainer has lost interest. Not only that but as proud as I am of making it to the gym for two months straight, I haven't lost weight despite losing inches and I feel I'm not a subject he can use to attract more clientele.

So now we do this on our own momentum!

Alright! So far my own momentum has worked for the last week! SQUIRREL WIN!

However I'm beginning to wonder if I should focus more on weight loss than weights. I love how strong I'm feeling but I wanna see the scale numbers go down, not up. Ugh! Why are things so confusing.
