I started the hero's journey yesterday, anyone else doing this right now? Or want to start?

Might be a few days to get back on my official journey, but I'm having a great time wandering around on side quests. Yesterday evening we gathered firewood, so my arms and legs and core all got a great workout. Today I had a horse-back riding lesson, so I'm preparing for whatever this adventure might bring!

Sounds like you are having a great real- life adventure! I hope you are having a good time. A bit envious I must sayno snow here and I haven’t gotten to build a fire in a while.

I am having a great time, and I've really needed some time outside the house and time outdoors. Today was a walk/hike and then getting more firewood. Starting my Hero's Journey has helped me get out on all these other quests which motivate me even more to get stronger and in better shape. (I could hardly lift myself up on the horse the first lesson. That is some great motivation to build strength.)

Wow, I have a long way to go! I had to push my way through a dense forest today - it took longer than planned and I didn't quite make it out. I was using the same muscles from my first time trotting yesterday, so I had to stop as it wasn't feeling safe at the end. (I had bad form yesterday, my instructor is working on it with me.) But I'm back on my journey and I also found a dragon egg!

How do you balance/juggle outside activities with a program like this? I went for a hike today. It would have been a legs day in The Hero's Journey. I couldn't do both. My legs need a rest day, but that means I'm not back on my Journey until the following day, assuming I don't do any more hiking before then. I get out at least once a week and am not sure how to fit it in. I don't want to skip because Hero is much more challenging for me than hiking. Thoughts?
