    --- the middle part of my left foot hurts since saturday, cause I underestimated the combination of uneven soft forest surface, the Nike FreeRun shoes and the “at least for me” long distance... stupid me! Lucky me, it’s getting better...

                          Some Nike Free Runs were my first "running shoe" and I also learned the hard way back then that that was sub-optimal, but being able to feel the ground under my feet was nice.

                                Rissa You are right, sub-optimal is the right word...

                                I am still planing to run with flat shoes someday, but I have to research for a well "cushioned" flat pair of shoes first. For now I I have to stick to my regular pair...
