Depends on what you are representing ...
Some tips:
- iron it
- have a good shawl in neutral colours at hand in case more formal dress is required
- wear clean and ironed pants with it, jeans is ok, but no holes and clean
- wear your best shoes, a formal shoe lifts the whole outfit to the next level and beyond
- your trainers are not your best shoes (use them for your commute if you have to and change them at the event)
- if you have a good bag (that’s not your rucksack), use that to accessorise
- go easy on the make up
But most important is of course to be a nice person, polite, professional, warm and interested in others.
