    Healing thoughts and prayers!

      All the healing vibes!

Also, I wound up on the first page of this thread and saw your knees goals from August and it looked like you were starting a then-new job. How are the job and the knees coming along now, 4 months later?

I still have a bit of a cold but the coughing is gone. I felt really bad last night and then finally fell asleep around midnight for about twelve hours. I think I should force myself to go outside to the sunlight (yeah that's back) before the rain comes back - next weekend, according to the forecast.

My knees are okay if I don't walk around too much. I have a doctors appointment next week, he'll probably send me to get an MRI or something, that would take forever. I'll go back to training specifically my legs I guess. I already read a few darebee articles and will experiment with some easy to do stuff.

YAY for the coughing being gone at least...it's so disruptive. I am glad you got some sleep. Good luck with the doctor's appointment.

Thanks CODawn I really feel a lot better. I guess it took 12 hours of sleep...

I cleared cash and cookies for a website so the challenges I started lost the markings. A good excuse to start over since after a few days of not exercising properly and being a bit sick, I'm not in the best of shapes.

Power up day 1... it wasn't great but it wasn't horrible either.

I'm not going to take cold showers for a while. Last night was a mistake. I was hot from the workout but doing that was too fast. I feel okayish but my face are congested today

Okay, so feeling better again (at least until tomorrow morning...) I decided to start a workout and see how it goes:
                      Dead hang day 3
                      Power grip day 3
Modified Code Zero - front kicks instead of side kicks, I added running in place to the count of 20 after each exercise. 3 sets, no stops.
                      Power up day 3
                      Glutes of steel day 3
                      Ninja speed lvl 1
                      Balance challenge day 3
Stretching that included care package and a full bridge for 10 seconds.
                      I think it went okay.

I can't do cold showers, so I just have a cold blast at the end of a "normal" one - I believe it's sometimes called a "James Bond shower" because he did that in the books. . . Anyway, that's a good compromise for me - I hate the cold!

Glad you're feeling better today! Power on!

I agree with you, Colin, that's all I can bring myself to do, too, but I'm okay with it.

I took a couple of days to rest and I knew Chelsea had a vet appointment this evening. I figured, she won't be in a mood to play afterwards and I could workout. Well, now I'm not in the mood to workout because of that appointment. She's fine, at large. She's eating, she's in good spirits, she has no worms and apparently it's too early for an annual vaccine so she didn't even get a shot. She doesn't even "hate" me right now after a normal visit to the vet. She does have reoccurring gum inflammation, genetic causes. I knew this because three years ago she had to undergo a big dental operation. Her immune system is attacking plaque on her teeth and is making things worse. Basically she needs another operation, according to the vet.
I was wandering if anyone here know of a way to treat something like that without having to put her under full anesthesia???

Sorry, I hope it can be resolved as painlessly as possible
