Day...it sure is a day I'll tell you that

Hello once again Bees. I err, did not remember it had been this long since my last post. Apologies. So, in my last post I had just ended the first semester of this year, and now I'm nearing the end of the last semester of this year. Things have gone..okayish. My lack of time management skills are now revealing themselves in these last weeks, were all the classes decided to dumb all their work into. My priority is my undergrad, which I think is going well, so I might succeed graduating. I'm just not sure I'll get good grades all around.

As for my working out, I held on for almost 4 months of working out with no more than 1 day of rest in a row. And I would have gone for more...but... wisdom teeth got in the way. I had pretty much set my mind that this year would be the year I'd remove them, so I removed one in late April. For that reason, I was out for 2 weeks. And then a bit more.Consistency has gone out the window. It seems it's much easier to destroy a habit than to create or something, or maybe the true prevailing habit is the lazy one...Anyway.

I've been trying to get back to it. Slowly. It seems in this short period of time all the work I had done in the 4 months just disappeared or something. I don't feel as strong as I did. So I'm starting with my lowest weights once again, and hopefully work my way up again. Motivation is kind of weird right now too, mostly because these weeks are killing me. But worry not, I'll make it.

Yeah uh, there's not been a whole lot of changes anyway even though it's been months. Just goes to show the monotony of life sometimes.

There's no need for big news, as long as you're okay

And monotony is what most of life is made of anyway.

            Day 6 of no workout:

Hello bees. Yes, I have not been working out. I removed 2 more wisdom teeth (and apparently the last 2 I can remove safely) so I have been advised once again to avoid intense activities, I guess. Since this time around the post-removal has been a little rough I'm not even going to attempt it. I gotta say I do feel a bit weak. It's funny it takes a while of working out to feel strong but once you stop you feel weak very quickly. It might be deceiving.

Some good news, in the meantime. It's now summer vacation for me. More or less 4 months of break for me. And I have completed my undergrad! So I guess I am officially a computer engineer now. I have not able to properly, like, celebrate this? I guess? Mostly because the dread of having to do a thesis now when I kind of don't want to prevents me from feeling relieved. But hey, you know. At least that's done.

I do plan to, once I'm able, to get down to a near daily workout routine again, get the most out of the summer. I do miss working out because of the variation it brings to my day (because otherwise all my activities include being at the PC one way or another)

Uuuuuuh yeah I do believe that to be it.

              Day 10:

How's it going bees? I've managed to return to working out a few days ago, and I plan to go back to my original plan of working out almost daily. I'm using a physical tracker of my progress because I've always struggled with the tools I use to keep progress (whatever that may be). There are some digital tools that work in some cases but more often than not the things that I use I just stop using them for whatever reason. So I'm using an actual piece of paper to write down my workouts and when I do workout. It's been a couple of days and I haven't stopped using it so hopefully it sticks. Also just a reminder that I allow myself to rest one day without it breaking the streak so it hasn't actually been 10 but 12. However I keep this number up because it's so I can track my streak badge progress.

Also, yesterday I did not go all the way with the workout because in the last exercise I felt some weird popping happening on my shoulder, and I'm all too familiar with it so I decided to stop it there. That's why it's marked.

Thank you for the suggestion However my problem is more so the checking of the app rather than the app itself, as in, I just stop checking after some time. I've gone through many a number of apps and the problem happens anyway so my theory is that the problem isn't in this or that app just using apps in general. Still, I'll keep this in mind if I want to try it out again.

                  Small update: Day 11:

Since I just finished today's workout (last post did not include today) I felt like including it here. It's run day and I'm still trying to get a <15:00 time on a 2 mile run but I still got some to go. Very close to my PB tho.

                    Day 34:
Hello everyone, hope you are having a fantastic day
Just here to update on my workouts, I've still managed to continue my streak and now I'm over 30 days of workouts, and almost finishing Ironborn yet again. During the period since my last update I've had another PB in my 2 mile runs, and I also had a period where I had to switch to equipment less workouts which I actually enjoyed just for the sake of variety.

In terms of other things, I've played Dungeons & Dragons for the first time and I enjoyed it, hoping to get that going again, and I'm going to be vaccinated today! Having a great summer so far.
