    I also think it's really important to know when you've stretched yourself too thinly and listen to your body & mind. I'm very much convinced that you'll manage to get through that period. Also, your plan seems pretty solid, even if you pause the program, it still looks like you'll be doing a lot. Good luck with everything! (:

      CaptainCanuck Ninshubur Gandhalfit motionaction Thanks folks. Its just good to be back on the happier side of life. The running is already kicking me into endorphin paradise and I am doing some Yoga via the Nike Training Center app. I might try the Darebee Yoga exercises soon but I need a video right now as I don't really know what I am doing otherwise (no real Yoga experience). I think I am going to add on the Flexibility challenge as well since it won't be hard to do and I really like doing a Darebee exercise even if its just a small one. It makes me feel a sense of belonging here which helps keep me going.

          Glad to hear things are improving and your new program sounds good. I am pretty sure that I have previously come across yoga designed specifically with runners in mind on Youtube. For something like yoga, you are correct, previous experience is a great helper for following the Darebee pictures. It is often important to know what you are tensing, where your weight should be and other such considerations for each posture. And don't forget to breathe!

                  I had a good run today but I had to shorten it up. 91 degrees Fahrenheit (33 degrees C) is a bit warm and there was no breeze at all. Couple that with the humidity and it felt like running through a swamp. Nevertheless, it was a good 1.5 miles and I'm feeling pretty good after it. I'm going to try again today after drinking a bit more water. I've also decided that I don't really want to log my macros much anymore. I find it only semi drives me to eat right. Mostly I eat what my wife cooks and I'm happy for it. I'll still log calories and I'll still work on eating more fiber. I'm also thinking about moving to a more vegetarian diet as I don't like consuming so much meat (ethical and health reasons). I'm going to start tracking my mood for the day as well. I don't expect to be joyful everyday but I want to try to see what is leading to bad days and try to fix it. Right now I'm not even enough (really good days and really bad days with not much in between). Looking forward to this new journey to see where it leads.

                  My weigh in was good today but I think some of that was dehydration and I expect it to jump some next week.

                        It's been a good week so far. I'm a bit wore out (been working 12 hour shifts and haven't had a day off in over a week) but my mood is good and I'm having some success even if it is taking a bit of fight to get it. Got a run in today. A somewhat quick run for me. Its going to take a few weeks I think to get my legs back under me to where I can run an 8 min mile but it will come eventually. No big rush.

                          I downloaded Neverwinter Nights, the other day, and I've been playing it a bit too much. Enough that it is interfering with my log entries. I've got to get a bit better about that. The game has been a fun trip down memory lane though and I've enjoyed it quite a bit. I didn't work out today but I was able to hit all my goals so no worries.
