Total failure on total and and cardio blast. Somehow managed to mess up my ankle so the cardio hit a wall. And I've had 2 weeks annual leave and have let total and almost come to a standstill.
So decided to restart total abs today and leave the cardio till I'm healed .(I might need a Dr appt which aren't easy to get these days ) .
        Any hints for ankle recovery?
Feel gutted as I've put on the weight I lost and lost my motivation ☹️

Sorry to hear that! I did a number on my knee last year (and my sister did a number on her foot) and if there's one thing I'd take away from that is that you should see a doctor as soon as possible when dealing with a joint injury. They'll poke, prod, and tell you what exactly is wrong and how bad the problem is, followed by what to do about it. The longer you wait, the worse the situation can become. Failing that, try looking over this.

There are a few ankle strengthening exercises in there to start with (GO SLOW!). My worry, though, is that it might not be a sprain and that stretching it the wrong way might make things worse. Suppose you think it's a sprain and it turns out to be a tear? Or a bruised bone? Definitely see a doctor.

Too hard, too much, too soon. Your just body told to that. Thats great news on the ankle, now you can go slow, it will heal. My goto for feet/ankle problems, get them lovely feet outta shit shoes and trainers and onto the ground.
You clearly have the mojo to work hard and push. But ultimately, but injury free and training consistently will set you up for life.

              Hey there.

It's easy to get discouraged when you injure yourself. It's happened to me before. Concur that professional help is the best remedy. Do take care of yourself mentally!
