    Had a lemsip and I think I'll do a workout tomorrow and try to just drink lots of water today


    I ordered a packages and my neighbours just did that thing they do where they fly out the door to grab it from the delivery guys, idk why they do that to the point that the delivery person doesn't even knock on our door... it's not even like we weren't in the house ffs

      Health update? smoking and general physical health

      I really haven't been having much luck with working out recently I've had a cold recently which has left me feeling pretty tired and bunged up, so I don't want to workout while ill, but bloody hell why can't my body just?? stop having ailments??
      I've been trying to keep drinking lots of water, but the issue with that is needing to go pee every 5 seconds after, I've also switched some of my cigs for vaping, so instead of my first cig out the door, I'm getting myself a coffee and vaping to the coffee shop, then trying to alt between vaping and smoking on my work breaks (because before I was just chain smoking on my breaks) then after work trying to stick to 1 cig max before going home and vaping for all the rest of the time, I was having quite a few cigarettes a day and I need to cut back on that a fair bit, I think I just smoke when I'm bored tbh, so I need to try to keep my hands busy with something else I think
      I know the disposable vapes are probably terrible for the environment, but I have been struggling to quit smoking while at work, and my mod-vape never charges properly so runs out of battery pretty quickly and I just don't charge it up for months :/
      so if it helps me quit I think it's worth me just buying a few of the disposable, we already recycle and upcycle where we can at home so hopefully I'm doing enough to cancel out the disposable vapes.
      I really need to figure out where I can dispose of the vapes once they've been used up, try to find a battery recycle thing in my area, that seems like it would be the right place to get rid of them

        Started using chewing gum and using a vape, I've still been smoking but much less, I've been having just 1 fag before work instead of 2-3, and having one or 2 cigs on my work break instead of chain smoking, and then just 1 after work instead of having atleast 2 up to 5
        hopefully I keep it up and can start using the vape less often, but I have been trying to alternate between no nicotine and low nicotine.
        I've also had a mate from work needed to crash on my couch most nights a week which means I'll probably feel too awkward to do any workouts, but I could just go to the gym instead of doing a home workout. I've been feeling quite a bit better from my cold recently and I think cutting down on smoking has probably helped quite a bit.

          Had my 2nd Covid Jab, and went for my bike CBT, though I didn't fully complete it in 1 day, mainly because I was so tired from 5 hours of training I couldn't focus, plus it was outside of my regular sleep-awake schedule I think I just stopped being able to focus, but ll I have left to do is get 2 hours of riding n the road with an instructor nearby and I'll be road ready!

              Got my gym membership to re-start on Monday, so I can start working out properly again.
              Also in 1 week I'll be unemployed!
              I think I just need to spend a week or so just not working for a while, I have enough savings to last me well into next year, but hopefully it wont take me that long to get a job with decent pay (Literally anything just above minimum wage would be fine lol) , I think I'll apply for warehouse work, so if I do I wont be able to go hard at the gym but hopefully if I can get a warehouse job the set hours will do me some good.
              I think going back to the gym before applying for warehouse work would do me some good and help me get my head clear

                So I went to the gym 3 times since my membership started back up, not too bad I reckon I've been very sore the following days after going haha it was expected though, even with having creatine there's still a lot of aches and pains, but I'll survive.
                Did a body composition scan which I found interesting so I think I'll put the results here for future reference::::

                I was pretty surprised to see my muscle mass % so high, I deffo thought it would be lower.
                I think from here I'm going to try to gain some more weight but as muscle-mass, I'm not sure if I should go for specifically a lean bulk or just try to eat a bit extra each day, or just focus of having extra protein, I'll start with just making sure I have enough protein in my system first

                I've set a weight gain goal on my fitbit as 63.5kg I'm hoping to reach that at around January and hopefully have most of the weight gain as muscle-mass, but at least with the scan I can monitor if it actually is mainly muscle-mass or not.

                Also I'm formally unemployed now, but the time I'm going to have off I am going to spend on some self improvement, I'm going to keep going to the gym, maybe take some free online courses to get my brain active, maybe do some sudokus, but mainly I need to keep ontop of the house, I think it's easier t do when I'm the only one home tbh

                    I found it much easier to get into doing the house chores after coming back from the gym when going early. I got some clothes onto wash, did the dishes and cleared off the couch (which all were in dire need of doing), cleared off the radiators, folded the clean bedding and took the clean clothes upstairs!
                    It's nothing amazing that I've done but I did it, which is far more than what I was doing when I was working 40+hrs a week at my old job haha. I'm glad I've been able to get some bits done, the house feels just a little bit better today. I don't have the mental focus to blitz the house, so I think just chipping away at a few little jobs is going to have to do. Hopefully tomorrow I get a few more jobs around the house done

                        Went to the gym on Tuesday, I focused on upper body areas as usual, but I feel like I don't need to work my legs so much as make sure they get a decent warm up and stretch. I should try a daily challenge for stretching, Maybe the Touch Your Toes 30 day challenge? I feel like that should be easy enough to do, and shouldn't be hard to fit it in at somepoint during the day
