      Thanks all for the kind wishes!
      My father is doing well (given he has had two amputations). Starting monday he will be on rehab and hopefully learn to walk with his new prosthesis.
      His left lower leg needed to be amputated to avoid severe sepsis.
      Most of this could have been avoided if he went to his doctor earlier / more frequently.
      But i am pretty happy that he is going to be transferred to a different location/hospital. At least this gives him some different environment.
      He was lying at hospital in bed now for around 4 weeks. He is already pretty weak and a lot of time lying in bed obviously doesn't help with muscle loss.
      So i keep all my fingers crossed for a good rehab.

      Meanwhile i could not really get myself to exercise more. During winter this needs to change,

      But regardless of my personal things i have two nice (imho) videos to share:

          Sorry for my pretty infrequent check-ins. I am not completely off working out, a bit here and there is happening.

          The day before yesterday (german: vorgestern) i joined another Strong by Z. session. Last one was i guess one month ago. But nevertheless it went a bit better than last time.
          I have "nice" DOMS in my glutes .
          My indoor-cycling setup is close to being setup. I guess this weekend i'll get back into indoor cycling.
          All in all i am working on getting my motivation up and the machine grinding on a regular basis.
          I saw the post "Where do you work out?" ... i need to remember some nice pics. I don't have much space, but imho that's the very interesing part. How much workout opportunities are in 2-3 m^2 area.

              A yoga-gymnastics mat is 1.80m by 60cm and you can do any exercise in that space

                I often feel spoiled for how much space I have compared to some people who have shared their exercise space. Neila' original exercise space, where this all comes from, was pretty small.

                    Yeah, time goes by. And it goes by fast. Haven't posted here since about 2 months.
                    I've been lurking around the hive sporadically and was pretty busy with plenty of organisatorial stuff regaring my dad etc. (he is still well and alive, no worries )

                    Thx for mentioning me in the snowball fight thread. I just read it today but had a nice warm feeling of being remembered

                    Basically i started working out again beginning of december but i did not post here but logged my kettlebell/dumbbell stuff in an oldschool paper book.
                    I also reactivated my smarttrainer and am riding quite frequently. I am also extending my midlife crisis activities a bit... registered for a radonneur brevet of 200km (and that's the shortest distance possible)...
                    But at least such tasks/challenges are a motiviation to get moving. Not sure if i will make it but the it's about the journey, right?

                    I hope you all had a nice xmas eve. Plenty of very good food and beverages here

                        Good luck with your training! And of course I would remember to mention you in the Snownball fight, you always supported me. So I thought that would be a fun way to give back. It's the season of giving after all.
