    Frustrating day. Mom wasn’t feeling to well and dad insisted in going grocery shopping in her place. We’re not great at making lists. We forget to write things down as it occurs to us. I tried to hurriedly write things down as mom was going to go lay down. In my rush, I forgot to write down ground beef for a planned dinner. My aunt did get some, and she volunteered for us to use the one she bought (no idea what her plan was for it, though). But my other aunt informed us that she had been complaining about it. This is one of the many reasons I’m not a people person, y’all. And of my many pet peeves is when someone volunteers something, as she is prone to do, and then acts like it’s some injustice. I honestly don’t know how my mom turned out so different than her siblings...

    And my sister got mad at the grocery store. We had been in the same aisle as her but a little way in front. This lady maneuvered her child in front of my sister’s basket while she was still pushing it. I didn’t hear what all happened or even see what the woman did, but sis told us about it. She said she told the woman that she could have at least said excuse me, because my sis could have run over the child with her basket. She said the woman got mad at her for saying this. Needless to say, sis was pretty pissed.

                Dad tried to contact one of our second cousins to see if they were okay after all the tornadoes that were in her state. Come to find out, she passed in October. We never met her, but we both talked to her on Facebook. Dad talked to her more than I did, but she did help some on the family tree. I updated the tree (is that morbid?) and my dad asked if I added her on there. I explained that she was on there already, but I updated it. Then i had to explain for the millionth time how exactly she was related, as well as another cousin. I used familysearch to show him the relationships, since it’s a little clearer to see and understand, which made him question (again!) why it didn’t show my brother and sister. Tell him once that we’re possibly related to Elvis Presley, and boy does he remember that! Tell him a billion times how he’s related to the relatives he talks to on Facebook and it completely disappears from his mind. And he still can’t grasp the concept of maiden names. I like this stuff, but I hate having to explain it over and over.

                I’m pretty sure I’m going to end up falling down the Monkees rabbit hole now, after seeing a few episodes again. Hyperfocus?

                Finally started my stretch program! Very light stretching, and yet I felt off for a little while afterward, like I had done a hard workout.

                    Tuesday was a pretty bad mental health day. Felt so down for whatever reason. Absolutely everything was aggravating. Rolo and Fonzie have taken to grumbling with each other at night before we get settled. There was a cat scuffle and I had to bang the drawers of my bed to break it up. And Gator, my sweet, cuddly Gator. This baby loves his cuddles at night, which the dogs don’t like and means they start grumbling again. Normally it’s not that big a deal, but that night was just rough. I ended up with only 4 hours of sleep that night, because every time I tried to go to sleep, they started grumbling yet again. I felt too mentally exhausted that day to do anything but read, so I broke my writing streak. And yesterday was sort of a recovery, I guess, so I decided to skip it that day as well. Definitely fell down the Monkee rabbit hole, though! But it did improve my mood tremendously, so .


                    It apparently takes me 17 minutes to complete 1,500 slow and steady punches .
