    I was in a funk all day yesterday. I couldn’t bring myself to do anything. I got my steps in because I was trying to get some movement in. I was about three steps to the bottom of the stairs when I fell. I slid straight out and somehow managed to scrape the front of my leg. I’m alright, just s little sore. I felt sick last night, too.

    As much as I tried to avoid this, I think I’m going to stop my current challenges. I’m so behind, and I’m on different days anyway. It’s hard to keep track. I’m going to just do wall push ups or incline push ups the rest of the month.

                I guess I really needed to just take it easy those two days. I felt better. I was still a little down, but miles away from how I was Thursday. My leg is sore from my fall, so that’s fun to navigate. I did feel really worn out after the bike ride, but I felt so much better after breakfast.

                I’m having a little trouble figuring out spots for incline pushups and how I need to hold myself. I decided on wall pushups but a lot further away. I managed 15 before my arms got tired, and I’m going to try to increase it by at least five every day. We will see how this goes.

                And Ringo noticed the tv I guess for the first time. We were trying to find something on Netflix when he started barking.

                      JCU Thank you! It is very amusing. Usually with him, it’s anything new or anything in a different place than it’s supposed to be. My pug hates seeing or hearing other dogs on the tv. There’s also certain music he doesn’t like. There used to be a commercial that played All Day and All of the Night by the Kinks. He freaked out any time it come on.

                        Yay the PB!! I had difficulty with wall push-ups because I kept bumping my head into the wall! Fortunately I have a half-wall that is around waist-height. You could try using a desk or dining table for incline push-ups, and the better you get, the lower you go, moving to a dining chair and then the sofa, until !!

                        Some days are just really sucky. They happen. Plans get made and they don't happen (tell me about it!). It's this thing called Life. But you keep moving through it. Even when you didn't want to do anything, you got your steps in. You made yourself do something, and that's great! And you wrote about it here, which encourages others too, because we all have those days.

                            I bought a new yoga mat yesterday! My intention was to get a plain one, but they didn’t have the extra thick one I was looking for. I didn’t want a dark color, but if they would have had the thick one I would have taken whatever color I could get. All they had in a light color was a pink one and a pale blue marble. The pink was out of my reach and I was in a hurry so I just grabbed the marble. And of course, I end up really liking the print on this, even though I wanted one that I wouldn’t mind if the dogs were rough with. These are only $5, after all. But so far they’re kind with it! I rolled it out to show my aunt the difference between that and the one I’ve been using, and Fonzie had a great time! He was running on it, jumping, running around the house. It was so cute! I had trouble with Ringo wanted to bring his chew toy on there. It’s hard plastic and has chew marks on it, so it’s very scratchy. I also had trouble with Fonzie wanting to bite it when I rolled it up the first time, and when I actually used it later he started to scratch it. All that considered, they are actually a lot gentler with it than I expected, so if they continue that way I can always switch between my two mats every so often. I just have to keep the cats from scratching it...

                            During that shopping trip I also got a drawing board (), a jade roller, a ped egg, and a box of 100 games. It’s got about 5 double sided boards and some pieces, along with instructions to all the games. Again, they were all $5, except for the ped egg which was 4. I had one before, but it fell off my vanity once and when I went to pick it up, a part was missing. We have a ghost who likes to take things. Usually after a while they return it, but they didn’t return this one.

                            We had to cut our bike ride short. Mom felt worn out.

                            Those V Ups were difficult! It doesn’t help that I was feeling bloated.

                            My leg is still sore. I tried to use my foam roller to soothe it. I’m going to take it easy until it feels better. I’ll just try to do the daily dares, my push ups, and yoga. Possibly belly dancing. Down dog and peddling while in that position doesn’t bother my leg, but sometimes walking does. I have to test my step deck and my stepper to see if one of them will put less pressure on my leg. I still want to get some steps in!

                              TopNotch Thank you! Life does happens, and I’ve prepared for that ! I am very happy with getting movement in even though I didn’t do what I wanted to. I’m really glad I’m in a better place mentally than I was a few days ago. Now I just have to get there physically.

                              As for the incline push ups, I tried them out on my vanity but I was having a little trouble with the positioning. I was still in a bit of a funk when I tried it out. I’m going to work on the positioning during this journey. I have a little time to figure it out.
