          Those hand workouts are a lifesaver!

          Sometimes we take the smaller dogs with us when we go biking. We’ll take a dog bed and fasten them in her basket with their leash and harness. My mom ended up buying one of those dog seats for the car so we wouldn’t have to take the bed. We also got one of those front carriers for little Fonzie but haven’t gotten to use it yet. Anyways, I caught my cat Bunny laying in the seat. She really loves pet beds, which reminds me of funny story that happened a few years ago. She used to lay in the dog beds all the time, but (at this point) we’d never had a bed for the cats since they have my entire room to lay in. We ended up buying her own and of course she loved it! She got in it right away and wouldn’t let her brothers (who showed no interest in beds before) lay in it with her. When I came downstairs her brothers came down not too long after, meowing at me because she got a bed and they didn’t.

              Saw a pretty kitty on our bike ride! Thought it was going to make us stop and pet it. It meowed at us when we got near and started coming closer. Then it followed us a little way.

              I messed up. I didn’t look at my calendar today because I thought I could do the stretches before bed. Not so, Billy Joe. These were morning stretches. I did end up doing them at night. I switched some of the stretches to more cat cows. I wasn’t too crazy about the video, though. The yogi squats to straightens were kind of fun. Or, as Cassey called them at one point, peaceful to stripper . Had to run the video back to make sure I heard her right.

                    We saw a kitten again. It wasn’t the same one as before, but it’s about the same age, so likely a sibling. It was on the street close to the curb, and I moved away so I wouldn’t scare it. It got up on the curb and watched us. Then we noticed another one hiding. Both of these little cuties were black and white. I miss when my babies were little.

                    Made it through the first week of August! It feels like it took forever. I forgot how sore the Blogilates workouts made me. But I feel like I’m getting stronger.

                    I got hand grips a while back but didn’t really use them because I could not. Squeeze. The darn. Thing. I’m not gonna lie, it intimidated me . Brought them down because due to yoga and pilates, my hands and wrists feel kind of weak, and mom said her grip strength wasn’t so great either. I expected it to be just as hard as when I tried before. But they budged! I thought my grip was getting weaker with exercise, but I guess not. So that’s good news. I just have to remember to work more hand and wrist exercises into my routine. Always a work in progress.

                    It’s a little early, but my favorite time of year seems to be here: pumpkin spice season!

                        DorothyMH Ooh! I don’t think I’ve had pumpkin spice tea in that brand, even though it’s one of the brands I get. I’ll definitely have to look for it! I very seldom go to coffee shops, so one of the many ways I get my pumpkin spice fix (I use the term “fix” loosely, because I’d be happy with year-round pumpkin) is through pumpkin spice creamer. Still has more calories than tea, but less than coffee shops.
