                  My delayed reward: a biking outfit! This wasn’t really planned, but it was something I’d been thinking about getting. I found some colorful shorts that I loved, so I decided that would be my reward.

                  I didn’t get to start all my challenges yesterday. I still have Back & Arms, Tricep Dips, and my Journey to Push Ups Challenge. I also didn’t get to start my yoga yesterday. The reason? After doing the Blogilates workout, when I went to help with dinner, I felt really shaky, kind of dizzy and nauseous, and my mom said I looked really pale. I had to sit in a rolling chair to help because I felt so bad. I intended to finish everything after dinner, but I still didn’t feel 100%. So I just did the challenges I could do while sitting. I’m not sure what caused it, though. It’s not like it was an intense workout. Doing all those squats in one go (because I don’t do things throughout the day) was way more intense and I was fine. I’d eaten a little while before, and I had water with me. All I can think of is long hauler symptoms. Anyway, I’m going to start the others a day late. I’m not too thrilled with that, but I still want to do the challenges. Oh well. It just gives me two celebration days .

                  One thing I’m probably going to be looking into soon is getting a different mat. I have a yoga mat with a design I love, but I don’t use it anymore. My little pugkin spice latte already made dents in it with his toenails, and the way the younger dogs treat the mat I am using makes me not want to use the yoga mat. The one I’m using now is essentially a sheet a foam with a cloth cover, which is fine because the younger dogs like to bite it and yank at it (lovely children) and it’s durable. BUT it’s too short! So we’ll see what happens.

                    Every one of my cats has liked/loved/hated my mats! The worst offender would use it as a scratching mat. Casper attacks an edge and has left little holes and gouges. Liam? He sleeps on it! Also nibbles...

                    Reading your symptoms hit me like a bolt of lightning! Have you had your blood tested recently? I used to have almost your exact symptoms (dizzy and pale when standing, only sometimes nausea) before I learned I was anemic. In my case I'm magnesium and zinc deficient, not iron, but a deficiency is a deficiency! Once I started taking supplements my dizzy spells faded away.

                      JCU I caught my cats scratching mine once. It was only $5 dollars, but it’s pretty!

                      I had my blood tested almost a year ago and didn’t have any bad results. This is something that really only started last year (in January, I had a really bad cold that felt pretty similar to what I felt like in November when I most likely had COVID, and my blood was tested around that time). But I did start my period yesterday (TMI, I know), so maybe that had something to do with it? Didn’t think about a possible correlation. So I’ll probably have to start keeping a log and seeing if there’s any relation.

                        Anemia can sneak up on you; my brother was diagnosed when he want expecting anything. And yeah, periods can certainly have an effect! You could try eating iron rich foods? Spinach was a huge help when I was donating blood.

                          Got through all my exercises without any problems! I took it slow and modified when I needed it. I did the Back & Arms Challenge on my knees - I’m not strong enough to do a full plank rotation yet!

                          My sweet little Fonzie “exercises” with me. He watches me when I’m putting my mat down, then he’ll jump on it, stretch out his back legs, and start rolling around.
