    JCU My dad has five siblings and my mom has six. And their parents had a lot of siblings, except for my paternal grandmother. She had only two siblings. And I think most of their parents in each generation had a lot of siblings. I’m trying to make it as complete as possible (though, I might find people and have to cut off a few branches...) Working on the family tree makes me really grateful for vaccines and birth control

    Ugh, brothers. That’s horrible, and so, so relatable. We have a trash can, but he barely throws anything away. We’ve had to start keeping the toilet paper on the counter (the rest is stored under the sink) instead of the toilet paper holder, because my cat decided to start playing with it (and keeping the door closed is not an option because they’d think I was in there and tear up the door). He would finish one roll, reach under the sink to get toilet paper, and though the trash can is under the sink as well, he’d leave the empty roll on the counter. He’s left empty bottles and tags off of things he’s bought on the counter. Getting him to clean anything is a battle in itself, even though he makes most of the mess.

      So much agreement... Brothers can be the worst. (Conversely, he can be incredibly generous with time, money, food, laughs...) Brothers...

      That's a whole lot of family! It reminds me of my stepfather's sprawling clan. Just in this generation they've had multiple families with 6 or more kids!

        JCU Even before I got into family trees, I knew I had a large family. I’ve got a lot of first cousins, and of course a lot of them have kids. Just counting them was a long list. It was always kind of a joke with my friends .
