Your issue with your creamer reminded me of a podcast I listened to recently. It was about how to have a good day every day. Apparently, if something bad/annoying happens in your morning and it makes you cranky, your mind looks for things to confirm that the world is a bad/annoying place and your whole day is horrible. On the other hand, if you don't get cranky but laugh it off, finding creamer dripping from the ceiling into your hair the funniest thing in the world (and if you're not in a rush to get out the door, it could well be!), then your mind looks for more fun things and you have a great day. Interesting concept, and one I'm definitely going to have a go at more often. I hope your day wasn't all bad. I must confess that the mental image of your touching the bottle and more creamer going everywhere was, for me, quite amusing. Hey, I'm easily amused!
As for getting your minimum active minutes "barely" - well, you got them. You had set a goal (your minimum) and you exceeded it. What's bad or poor about that? You just keep pegging away. This is a journey without a destination so it doesn't really matter how long it takes.
TopNotch It definitely wasn’t all bad. But I could probably have saved some mess if I’d let it settle for a minute before trying to clean everything up.
And there’s nothing wrong with getting the minimum. Just a little frustration over having low energy.

Even though my goal of 24 days of activity doesn’t quite add up to 80% I’m putting a gold star on it .
Randomly decided yesterday that I wanted to set a goal for myself to reach pushups (even if it’s just knee pushups) in 5 months. So I’ll be starting an ab challenge soon. I’ve lost all my strength, so I’m starting completely from zero again.
That's the great part about personal fitness. Because we only really need to measure success against own own selves, we get to decide where and when we get the gold stars . Congrats.
I am probably the wrong person to ask, but I think the pushups are a good idea.
Push-ups are a great choice because there are so many possible progressions - wall push-ups, knee push-ups, incline push-ups, and all the varieties of full push-ups. And your time-frame is good. It's not too short, not too long, and firm. Take it slowly, work on form so you a) don't hurt yourself; and b) achieve the satisfaction and pride of knowing that when you do a push-up (of whatever kind), you are doing a Good one! You've got this.

Thank you both! It’s been one of my fitness goals for a while now and I figure it’s about time I start working towards it again. As for wall push ups, that’s the only one I’ve been able to do. I’m pretty sure my core strength is my biggest problem.
