    ♡ Wrist Pain Workout

I lied. Not intentionally, but still. My wrist was killing me last night. It was pretty sore during the day, but it was just so bad last night that I just didn’t feel like doing stretches. So I’ll have to do two new poses tonight.

I did the Wrist Pain Workout again. I definitely need to do this more frequently...

Well, my wrist felt a little better when I woke up this morning, but my shoulder was now deciding to take its place (I’m falling apart ). Kidding. But my wrist did kind of act up every so often. I did the Wrist Pain Workout again and tried to rest it. I tried to stretch my shoulder every once in a while, but nothing seemed to help. I planned on doing my workouts using yoga blocks so I wouldn’t have to put pressure on my wrists and with the hope that it wouldn’t hurt my shoulder. I did do a down dog during stretches and it didn’t hurt. But as it stands right now, I just really don’t have the energy. I’ll do a little bedtime yoga sequence tonight so I won’t lose my yoga streak, and hopefully I’ll get enough sleep tonight and feel better in the morning. At least I did Calves of Steel and Baseline, so I did get a little something done.

When the pain and inflammation are acute, you can't do much more than rest and do some very light movement.
It helped me a lot to understand what my weaknesses are and instead of thinking of them as a sentence I put them among the work in progress.
Shoulders and back have become something to be cultivated slowly and I must say that I am already reaping the fruits.
I moved the finish line a little further and thought about the long distance, I am in no hurry and I like to think of working over time to get better and better
The only problem was reducing other exercises in my training to include the beneficial ones for my weaknesses

*I should probably note that my step count, healthy steps, and miles are taken from Samsung Health, not Fitbit. My steps on Fitbit are usually a lot higher, and I really don’t think I actually managed to get 6 hours on Fitbit yesterday. But oh well.

Wrists were pretty much pain free, and my shoulder was a lot better. I was going to skip to Day 20 on Baseline, since I thought the chest expansions would be easier on my shoulder. But I tested out the standing W extensions, and it felt more like a stretch than anything (side jacks and step jacks were actually a little harder), so I did Day 19.

I was going to do all the exercises from Blogilates Butt Lift and Thigh Slimming Challenges, but I ended up just doing the standing exercises.

I’m considering getting rid of the Impossible Abs Challenge for now. Ideally, I’d like to continue with the planks at least, but I’m not sure if I would be able to. I definitely don’t want to do the side bridges right now. It just sucks since I’ve made it this far.

I’m going to keep the Blogilates Challenges. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up on Butt Lift and Thigh Slimming, and then finish it out as planned. Journey to the Splits I know will not be completed this month, which is kind of frustrating to me since I like to keep challenges within a month. But since I planned on continuing it after the challenge was over (I’m not anywhere near the splits yet), I think I’ll be fine with just picking up where I left off.

I think you are doing a great job on all your workouts!

Understandably, not completely reaching a set goal can be frustrating. I think, we always need to take into account, it's not necessarily the destination but the journey that makes us who we are and being able to tally up our accomplishments thus far is, for me, is always rewarding in itself.

(glass is half full, which will be there when I return to it and the other half I already took care of as well)

So again for me, I try not to let frustration set in and focus on my journeys accomplishments so far.

                                KEEP UP THE GOOD WORKOUTS!!!
