AnnieW Thank you . Hopefully it gets me closer to being able to do a knee push up.

          ♡ Punches - 1,272/ 10,000

          16 Consecutive Days of Yoga

Got a pretty late start again today. I planned on doing more of the Blogilates calendar, but only ended up doing one video. Then I added Pack a Punch for more arm work. My arms were so tired at the end.

I have to do my Journey to the Splits Challenge tonight before bed.

On a side note, after yoga today, I played around and tested out my knee push ups just to see if there was any change in them. There was. I still can’t lower my arms too far down, but I’ve made progress since the last time I tried them when I was testing out the suggestions. So I’m actually starting to think that there might be a big improvement after next month. I don’t want to get my hopes up too high, though.

I also have toyed with the idea of doing Upper Body Light and/or Blogilates 30 Day Sleek Arms Challenge next month as well. I don’t want to go too overboard on my arms, especially since I’m going to be doing a lot of “push ups” and I’m pretty much starting at zero. So those will likely have to wait a couple of months.

Miss_Dada Haha, thank you! I enjoyed it during the Punches and Squats Challenge, but I thought I’d try again since my arms have gotten stronger.

😃 Your "Journey to Push-up" calendar looks Marvelous!
You will definitely have stronger arms come September!!! 💪🏻💪🏻👈🏻
If I may, the repetative motion of this exercise, Bicep Extention, will also increase arm strength.
( without the requirement of a wall! 😉 And, can actually be done setting! 🙃 )

Blogilates Journey to the Splits Challenge Day 16

Gator joined me during my stretches yesterday. I also noticed that the challenge is called Journey to Splits, not Journey to the Splits. But Journey to Splits sounds kind of awkward to me.

What is the "We Are Fighting Cancer Challenge"
Maybe I can join you from next week.

Rads Thank you! We Are Fighting Cancer Challenge is a thread where you do 10,000 reps (or more) of combat moves to “support anyone who needs it in the fight against cancer.” Personally, I went through the combat workouts and wrote down all the moves, so any time I come across them in my workouts I add them up. I’m not trying to reach 10,000 in any specific amount of time, but that’s just me.

TopNotch I think I’ve actually added this to my watch later list, but keep forgetting to pull it back up. I watched part of it just now, and I’ll have to finish it off later. Great tips so far, though. Thanks for reminding me of it!

I was really feeling my arms and my back today.

Gator joined me again today. I was getting reading to do today’s Impossible Abs Challenge, when I ran into a cat as I was laying down. So, I had a pillow (I didn’t actually use him as a pillow).

He left and came back during yoga. Hero’s Pose is a nice yoga pose for giving belly rubs to an insistent cat. He ended up moving behind me, so I had to be extra careful during Upward Facing Dog so I didn’t squish him.

Journey to the Splits will be completed tonight.
