I couldn't help but try to use alliteration in my title
I literally stumbled upon Darebee in the Google Playstore when I was looking for more exercise apps this morning. Three months ago I had a tumor removed from my spinal cord and I've been trying to come back to my old normal of daily HIIT after weeks of very mild physical therapy. Prior to the surgery, I had been doing HIIT every day, so you can imagine how I feel about losing my old routine.
I've got a lot of side effects to overcome, but it sure looks like the Darebee resources will fit my needs as I slowly make my way back. Physical therapy is no longer enough and while Yoga, Barre and 7-minute routines help a little, I still have fundamental problems with balance and moving my extremities to work on.
Two things for today after learning my way around (5/23)
1. Selected the Foundation Light program to start tomorrow.
2. Did today's Daily Dare (4 times, 2 extra credits). I could not have done that after surgery as the tumor was in my neck. Much more strength in my trapezius muscles. Some progress.
Today I started with
- One Minute Meditation Challenge (which I have been doing!)
- Knee Push-Ups 30 Day Challenge (which are doable, but a challenge)
I'm thinking about adding the
- Daily Gratitude Challenge (which I have been trying to do in my journal)
I found the Android app, but is there an iOS app I can put on my iPad? I can't find it in the App store. Regardless, I'm grateful to have found this community.
