      Day 2 of Zero Hero
Day 3 of Yoga Abs Challenge
Day 26 of the June challenge Punches & Squats (hindu squats)
Day 11 of the Upper Body Light Challenge (taps and extensions)

7 km run in the morning (tarmac, brick road, trails)

Last run I wanted to go for a coffee half way, but forgot my bankcard. So now I made it up to myself. At 6 km, really close to home is a nice terras that opens at 9 and I got myself a nice large koffie verkeerd.

DorothyMH ’Hidden burpees‘ made me LOL. Spot on.

Dadalo I’m always messing up my numbers (mind you, 40% of my work is data analysis...). I put the stats there to help me count correctly.

No pictures of my run. I ran with my son, who didn’t want to go. But I seduced him with a fun game: whenever he felt like taking a break, he could tell me to do 23 Hindu squats. He could do that 5 times during the run. We looked up the route on the map, so he knew how to spread the breaks wisely. He surprised me by running a full 2 km between break 3 and 4. I wined a bit about wanting to take the breaks to make him feel really in control.

We had a pleasant run, a good laugh when I warned him about the rabbit holes on the trail and promptly falling into one myself and I had my 115 Hindu squats for Punches & Squats done. Usually I do the squats in one go, but combining them with the run was really nice.

I was over here wondering why you picked 23, thinking it was such an oddly specific number. Even when I read that you did it 5 times it didn’t dawn on me (I can’t math).

Glad you got him to run with you! I hope you didn’t hurt yourself too bad, though.

LizardFriend95 During lockdown I helped my son with his online school work. My math skills got a boost! I was very surprised to find out that today’s math methods are a whole lot better and so much more human friendly than what I got in primary school. Still, I made my son do the math ...

The rabbits didn’t score any points today. Grazed my knee, no big deal.

I have a math app and a few brain game apps that have math games. I’ve gotten a little bit better, but not much.

A steady drizzle all day and lots of work and meetings. I planned to go for a run, but it’s not going to happen. Tomorrow! I have a half day off and the weather is going to be better. Perfect day for my run.

I really liked the Punches and Squats Challenge. I punch better now and I learned about Hindu squats, thanks to Fremen. I wonder what the next monthly challenge will be.
