    Sunday, June 21st

I worked out Friday but I've been too dead the rest of the weekend. I have been recovering from a foodborne illness that was passed on to me by a coworker. It came out in the toilet earlier so I think I'll be good to workout tomorrow morning.

Food: corndogs, v8, handful of cashews; chicken n veggies, cherries; steak and garlic bread. I should hit 2k right on the mark.

    Thursday June 18th

Yesterday was Day 15 of Baseline. Man I was so stoked to finally get a leg day! Sadly, my left leg was acting up. I could barely get one set in when I first got up yesterday. But I tried again after breakfast and was able to get through the other 3. Today was day 16. It didn't seem like a very challenging workout until I started doing it. I'm noticing that the more I do these workouts, the more energy I have throughout the day. I love it!

Food: everything but the bagel meatballs and cauliflower mash, v8; pork udon(with zoodles), an apple; dinner is going to be an experiment, haha. caramel corn-dogs! I've tried paleo corndogs before and it didn't turn out great so I'm gonna try doing this one from scratch! And giving it more flavor in the process. (: I didn't log my food yet but I should right around 2k. (yesterday I definitely went over because I ate the rest of those cookies)

Ok. I didn't workout over the weekend. OTL Sunday's are unavoidable because of how early I need to be at work. Saturday, I just overslept. Today, I made it through day 14 of Baseline. On the last set, I didn't need to pause halfway through the set of the Overhead Hand Clenches! Whoop! I know I was hating on all the upperbody exercises but I'm pretty happy about this. The whole reason I don't play around with my hairstyle is because I literally can't keep my arms held out long enough to finish the look. Seems like that's about to change.

Food: breakfast wraps with eggs and sausage, oj, v8; salmon with strawberry balsamic sauce and prince edward veggies; pork udon with zucchini noodles; snacks: coconut butter, paleo shortbread cookies, an apple. I should end up a little over because, uh, I ate 8 of those cookies. I just did the math and it seems each cookie is 100 calories.

I was reviewing my data for these past couple of weigh-ins and I'm pretty stoked to see my body fat % and visceral fat going down.

Got to agree with you on that point but that mental transformation is amazing! And you’re definitely having those rewards now by the looks of it. Thank you! And don’t feel bad for not working out, what’s important is that you go back in track. Congrats on no longer having limp noodles for arms

I forgot to workout Wednesday. I had to be at work earlier than normal and didn't have time in the morning. I had intended to do it after work but forgot about it until bed time.
Anyway, yesterday's workout went smoothly and I think I hit my calorie goals(but I forgot to log whoops). Did day 12 today and as I said above, my arms didn't feel like limp noodles! Finally, some noticeable progress!

Food: pork chops, taters, v8; bbq chicken, broccoli; eggs, sausage, pancakes

hc0381 LOL! It's less about motivation and more about not wanting to feel like shit all the time. It seems to be working for me though? The old me would have quit this program after the third day of chest compressions but I'm almost half way through the program. And you know what? My arms didn't feel like limp noodles after today's workout! Whoop!

Good luck to you on your fitness journey! We're all rooting for you.

Of course you bought 2 dozen doughnuts your username says it all but seriously, the motivation that you have to still bounce back and keep on track is just amazing!

Didn't have time to update over the weekend whoops. Did day 9 fri, tried day 10 on sat but couldn't do it. Doing all those upperbody exercises EVERY day is really killing my back and shoulders. However, I tried day 10 again today and realized I was doing that last exercise wrong. Doing it the proper way didn't make me cry today. As for food, I overate over the weekend. Friday was donut day so how was I supposed to not buy 2 dozen donuts??? On the positive side, this mistake made me remember how shitty junk food makes me feel?

Food: I am out of snack foods so it is looking like I'll be under today. Right now, I'm sitting at 1k with breaky and lunch: breakfast wraps with sausage and eggs, an apple, v8; chicken thigh and broccoli; dinner.... maybe something with steak???? idk man

After reviewing this info, it seems like I was overestimating my needs originally.
In general, I'd consider my activity level to be "light." I work on my feet all day and have been doing a Darebee workout on most days. Being on my feet isn't particularly exhaustive. That makes my calorie needs more like 2k kCal.

Saving this formula for later: calories burned = BMR x METs/24 x hour

Sorry about the week-long radio silence. Last weekend of the month is always a shitshow that kills me. Just that one all-nighter completely fucks my body up, man. Miserable, depressed, unusually sore. Ugh. I'm finally getting back on track, though. The only day I worked out since last "Frodau" (lmao. auto-correct, you had one job), was Tuesday (and today, I guess). Baseline Day 7 and a walk-run with my dog. I am still sore. I work a job where I'm on my feet all day and yesterday I just felt like I could collapse at any minute. Today I did Day 8, which was a lot less painful. It helped loosen up my extremely stiff back this morning.

Food:Not gonna lie, I overate all weekend. Bad food(literally, KFC, lots of bread). I was just too exhausted to care, my dudes. Today, I should be under a little. bratwurst n kale; beef stew; roast chicken n veggies. 1800kCal.

Also, I finally replaced the batteries in my fancy pants scale. I'm gonna try to do a weekly weigh-in on Tuesdays.

I have a confession to make: I made brownies yesterday. They are 400 cal per serving. I ate two of them yesterday.
Today, I finished Baseline day 6, no problem. My legs are kind of sore from yesterday. I wasn't able to walk my dog because of the weather so i did a short walk-run on the treadmill. 1min on, 1off for 10mins. Then 5mins walking. I started out strong at 6mph but finished at 4mph(running) due to an uncomfortable feeling in my left thigh/hip. Also, I was able to limit sotting to 5-6 hours. ✌ so yeah. Energy is up but so is pain.

Food: steak n veggies, brownie; chicken n squash; pulled pork in sweet potato boats with bbq sauce, broccoli. Looking at 2.4 kCal. Yesterday I finished at 3k.

Yesterday was some bs, let me tell you. I didn't have the time or motivation to workout yesterday. Food: The only (healthy) leftovers I had were chicken thighs with zucchini. So that is what I ate for both breakfast and lunch. Dinner was organic steak with italian-marinaded grape tomatoes and frozen price edward mix veggies. Dessert was PSL chia pudding with nova crisps for dipping. Those chips are damn addicting. I just made it to 2k.

I felt bad about skipping out on exercise yesterday so I pushed myself to do level 2 on Baseline today. In a little bit I'll be taking my dog for a walk. And it's grocery day so I shouldn't have to worry about sitting for too long.

Food: chicken thighs and zucchini; steak and prince edward; pulled pork with bacon-date bbq sauce on baked sweet potato with broccoli. I should be able to hit 2k without snacking! Whoop!
