    Dark Side of the Gym

Hey hey! Newbie in the hive here!

I am 23 and I have been working out for a few years now, mooore or less consistently. I've alternated periods of going to the gym with a couple of sports, particularly Muay Thai and roller skating, though I also enjoy a lot dancing and I try to do it often. My longest period without working out was last summer, because not one or two but three bones of my foot. I still have the occasional pain, but I am more or less back on track.

I just recently discovered Darebee, and, as I am working out almost everyone while quarantined, I thought I might as well keep some track of what I am doing and share my progress.

I will try to post weekly objectives and my daily workouts. I have started the Avatar Upgrade program, but I will be combining it with the routines I already had.

Best wishes for everyone! Stay well, stay fit and stay home!

PS: In case someone wondered, the title is a reference to a song by the group The National. Because why not.

Back here again! Wednesday and Thursday done, and today I did a good stretching session. I am not following the Avatar Upgrade program these days, as I am using some other videos and resources, but might get back to it.
Feeling good lately about my improvements! I have definetly improved the amount of burpees and push-ups I can do, so there's that.

I've been using the playlist Hype on Spotify, described as "agressive bass and trap for the gym". If you're into that kind of music, it charges you with soo much energy.

Absolutely! I usually listen to trap or electronic music while I am working out and it compleeetely changes the intensity I put on it. Game changer.

Saturday and Sunday done! Yesterday I struggled through my HIIT session, as it was hard and I was feeling a bit down, but it felt good once it was finished.
Okay, so 7/7 last week + 1 bonus point for stretching every day, not bad! I am still unable to convince myself to work out before breakfast, though.
