Daily Exercise: 60 Seconds March Steps, with EC
    Easy Arms Challenge: Day 5
    Workout: 190- DASH, 191- BEOWULF
    Belly Dancing: Basics
    Splits Exercises

Went back to the very beginning, planning to just run through the basics with belly dancing. That was very frustrating! Trying to do the movements so slowly, I was losing definition! I'll head back to the simple routines tomorrow.

My tendonitis does not like the bicep extensions in the challenge. I'm hoping it's just doing multiple days in one go, because ouch. I'm giving it another 4 days (2 on, 2 to recover; the circles aren't bothering me) to decide if I need to replace the extensions with something else.

Dad threw out beef bones. He forgot to close the garbage can. Liam was super pleased. We got it away from him, thankfully!

We got a foot of snow, approximately. It's so pretty! Liam is in raptures. The snow really settles in between his shoulder blades? We can always tell when he's been rolling if it's caked in there and it's not snowing.

Daily Exercise: 60 Seconds One Armed Plank Hold, with EC
        Easy Arms Challenge: Day 6
Workout: 192- BODYGUARD, 193- abs defined
        Belly Dancing: Basic Routine
        Splits Exercises

The hardest part of dancing is remembering all of the steps. Aku-chan mentioned the difficulty in keeping track of combos, which I entirely agree with, and I've found dancing is multiple combos in a row. So hard to remember!

I am so frustrated that I didn't have my phone on me earlier! Liam was barking his fool head off, so I bribed him in with peanut butter. He was in one of the undisturbed parts of the yard (he has trails he's made that he generally keeps to), and had to really fight through the snow to get to me. It was hysterical!

My elbows don't love me right now, but they're better than when I was doing the extensions, so I'm calling it a win!

Encanto take 3: I have... so many questions. Still adore Antonio! Bruno needs all the hugs...

My arms are feeling much better! Felt a bit of tension today after the extensions, but no more soreness! Super glad for that!

Kept it simple today after waking up feeling not great. ("Yuck" is the best word that comes to mind.) Still tired, but not too bad!

Liam wanted to go outside earlier, but had been out already, so I said no. He just stood there, giving me these eyes. Bees, I laughed so hard! I was actually giggling! They weren't even puppy eyes! He just stared so sadly.

He's the gift that keeps on giving.

Mom had a very rare Monday day off and we had a bit of a girls day out! Hit a few stores, bought a few things, had an awesome lunch. Great afternoon!

We walked enough that I really didn't feel the need for any extra workouts (was I also feeling a bit lazy when we got back? Yes.) and I can't quite push myself to dance without even a simple workout beforehand.

I woke up with a headache that hasn't passed all day. It did move, which gave me some relief, but it's a persistent brat. At least it's just sinuses and Mom and Dad both have a minor bother, too. As much as I love the snow, sudden, unexpected moisture is a real pain.

I did the barest minimum in exercising as a result, simply to keep my streak going. Thankfully, one day off won't affect my splits.

They seemed especially perfect to show my fellow Bees, Fremen, TheLibrarian, Anek! Glad you like them, too!

My arms did not love me after super x! I thought to do tomorrow after the punches, but pushed through. Glad I did, but I might just be feeling it later!

Saw Dr Tyler with my mom and sister. That was actually really fun! No Theo, though...

Speaking of my sister! She and her boyfriend are getting an apartment together! It's a great size for the price and in a nice neighborhood (about a mile from our old house she grew up in!). It's further away than we'd prefer*, but decently distanced from their work. She's ecstatic!

*We'd prefer next door. 45 minutes away isn't terrible.

I discovered that if I move my slippers around when Liam is barking, he thinks I'm coming downstairs and quiets down. He settles and falls asleep and I can get another hour or 2 in myself. Hilariously, he gave me the cold shoulder! I gave him my usual greeting, he looked at me, then turned away and went back to sleep! I might have even gotten a side eye!

                      Liam is just perfect.

Had a headache again today. It snowed again today. If my sinus cavities could stop being barometers, that'd be great.

Skipped the dancing; my back is still getting used to being in proper position. Pushed through with the workouts, though!

It's interesting to me how much I can forget while tired. I really should try to remember to write these posts long before just going to bed...

Pain in my shoulders confused me this morning until I remembered Hammer. Weighted shrugs!

Thank you, Anek! I'm feeling better, but not quite well yet.

It rained today. The snow is melting!

I remembered what I was thinking about yesterday: tiingilar! Traditional Mandalorian stew, spicy enough to burn nose hairs. The official recipe just doesn't look spicy? I pulled out my favorite vindaloo recipe and did some quick and dirty math.

Converting as much as possible to grams and separating the spicy aromatics from everything else, the tiingilar comes in at 14/100. That doesn't include the 6 cups of liquid. The vindaloo is 56/100 with 1/2 cup of water.

Deep, nose hair burning red from tomato sauce or dried chilies? No comparison!

My thought now is to take the vindaloo spice paste (vinegar, garlic, ginger, chilies, cumin) and triple it. Since the recipe only uses pork and tiingilar is a stew, adding in stew ingredients (veggies and a starch or 2) could help bring it where I want.

Something to bring up with everyone but Mom! She just doesn't do well with spice...
