      Yesterday I was a sloth. I finally remembered to exercise just before bed, so I only did the daily exercise. Super easy, thankfully!

      I was back in action today! And neither days of assassin's had high knees, so that was very nice with the daily exercise!

      I found a recipe for carob muffins a while ago that will convert very easily to sugar free dog treats. My hope is to use the leftover blueberry mass as a filler for the muffins. Fun experiments for tomorrow!

      The snow is marvelous and not melting any time soon! Which means the comparison picture from last year may be perfect! I have several already that aren't bad, but my hope is for tomorrow at 11. I'd take Wednesday, too, though! That'll be exactly a year! (I somehow caught Liam blinking again. So darn adorable!)

        Today was not an easy day. My brother does not know how to control his anger (specifically, how not to take it out on others; really sick of not being allowed to have a good day if he's not) and I stayed quiet on the couch to not provoke my own anger.

        He is going to a therapist, but this one is probably not going to be the one he needs. Which, of course, makes things much worse. I understand he needs the help of a therapist (I do, too), but my empathy is usually pretty broken and I have none for someone who doesn't even try.

        The simple pleasure and joy of this site helps enormously. You Bees are the best people.

        Kept it super simple with the exercising and didn't get to any baking, but there is always tomorrow! (My motivation is so high at night. Why do you forsake me in the morning?!)

        I may have the perfect picture! I will try once more tomorrow, but of the three I took today, one is now my background, so it's good! Once I have everything, I'm going to try my best to make a shareable google doc so nothing gets lost in shrinking. Liam is so cute!

        Just tried Aloha Protein Bars and they're not bad! Vegan is best with my lactose intolerance, but finding good vegan protein bars is not easy. The fudge brownie wasn't unpleasant, but I'm not overly fond of the mint chocolate; it tasted too much like toothpaste when I finished my tea. Still, a decent snack!

            I had plans today. And then I finally opened my birthday puzzle and got a... bit sidetracked. It was only 4 hours! After that my back was really unhappy with me, so I kept it as light as I could with 220 high knees and climbers.

            I'm only doing the daily exercise tomorrow because I'm seeing Bernice and Dr Tyler at 9 in the morning. Yay and ugh.

            The pictures of Liam! That link should work. Yesterday won on best match. It's great to see what time works best with the light reflection on snow. That time is between 10 and 11, and it doesn't have to be fully clear, because yesterday was actually a bit overcast!

                I understand that having a family member with anger issues can be frustrating. I hope you'll have the opportunity to go to therapy yourself, with the right help a lot can change. And setting boundaries to family and friends can also be very stressful, I've dealt/am dealing with this still sometimes. But things can change and you will stay strong. (:
                And cute doggo pictures help a lot!

                      Managed to fit the pacer steps in before my appointments yesterday, which was very nice.

                      I'm sore in the very best way today. Bernice is just the best! She worked my calf well and there's only a bit of pulling on my heel today! My thumb is more sore now than it was earlier, but better than usual! She used a tourniquet on it and that was weird! She really got most of the pain!

                      The greatest worry is if it doesn't get better, though. Bernice said that because it's been 3 months already, there's a chance Liam punctured a tendon. That sounds scary! So it's something I'm going to need to keep an eye on.

                          Daily exercises for the last 3 days were completed with extra credit. Finished the challenge! Glad that's done! Some days splits exercises are simple. Others I question if I've stretched in the last 5 years. 🤷‍♀️

                          Watched Mary Poppins Returns, Encanto, and Moana. Liked them least to best in that order. Great family time, and some pretty spectacular laughs. I'll definitely be rewatching Moana soon (that ending was just perfect).

                          Okay, in an attempt to get "We Don't Talk About Bruno" and "The Family Madrigal" out of my head I will watch that again, too. Since listening to the album 3 times hasn't helped. And Antonio is just the cutest thing ever.

                          Liam's getting better with "no"! Twice now, with 2 different people, he's backed away from Casper's bowl!

                          Now if he'll just ignore the butter. We lost another stick.

                                Proof I need to start dancing again: I didn't remember until writing this post. Tomorrow!

                                I knew I should take a nap when I woke up. I decided to about 4. I woke up at 8.
                                ​​​​​​Yeah, that's most of an afternoon gone.

                                ​​​​​​I did the first day of the challenge and the daily exercise yesterday, just before bed. I'll not be ignoring it so long again! Decided to work through the days we'll be missing at the end of the month now, when the days are lighter, than at the end of the month. Pretty sure I'll be thanking myself in a few weeks!

                                It was 7 degrees this afternoon. I walked into the back room to let Liam out in my tee-shirt and thought it was much too warm. I've been without a sweater or flannel most of the day. Madness!

                                So, of course, it's going to snow almost all day tomorrow, through Friday, and it'll reach a whopping -8 on Saturday afternoon. That ice will be so much fun to work through.
