      Decided to work on building the workouts rather than dancing. Boxer needed quite a bit of time!

      Made cookies! I decided to just make the whole batch chocolate chip for the ease. Turns out it wasn't that easy! The dough sat out for an hour and was still incredibly stiff. I ended up pressing the chips into the balls rather than attempt folding them in.

      I'm not entirely sure if it's because of the temperature, or the butter to flour ratio, but these didn't spread! They're tasty, but not quite the cookies I wanted them to be.

        I may be fighting something. I've not had the energy to exercise at all. Still did the basics, but that's it.

        I found the other haunted house in the area! It's highly rated, but I was cautious. I sent an email, but because of the subjectiveness of fright, I was given a number to call. Ended up chatting for 10 minutes with the owner! Long story short: my sister as I are discussing going! It probably won't be scary for me, but we should have fun!

        Another cool thing: there's a "haunted" asylum an hour away that allows self-guided tours! My sister has always wanted so go, so we may make a birthday excursion put of it!

          Another basic day. Between pervasive exhaustion and Liam, I wasn't up for anything.

          They did a drive-through Oktoberfest at the church, so of course they set up in the parking lot next to the house. Tents, tables, a grill all, Liam barked and whined for hours. It didn't help that Dad was there helping, so Liam could hear him but not see.

          The whining. Oh, the whining! He was literally at it for hours.

          Bonus: he slept incredibly well!

                    My body is not happy right now. Another GI bug (why, body, why?), my knee cracking every time I stretch it, my elbow tight and sore (pretty sure that's just from sleeping wrong), and my spine begging for Dr. Tyler (I don't see him until next week!). Everything at once?! Ugh.

                    Needless to say, I kept it light.

                    I have discovered that the biggest hurdle to the horizontal split is my right hip. Don't know why it's tight, but I see Bernice next week and I'm going to ask for her opinion. I'm so close on the left side!

                    In apple news: I lost count. The apple caramel had me grating the apples, squeezing as much juice out as possible, and using a scant amount. So I got apple juice! And then I remembered why Jonagold is my favorite variety! So I juiced the rest of them. The caramel can be made with any type of apple! I'll get to it! In the meantime: fresh apple cider.

                          I lost track of my workouts! Thankfully, I'm using a spreadsheet to keep on top of things and rectified it today.

                          Still tired, but the general ickiness is a sinus cold, the GI bug has passed, and my elbow cracked! So I'm mostly back to normal!

                          I'm holding off on the dancing until I've got my workout count back up. I'm off by 15, so I'm going to bulk up by about 5 a day. Once that's where I want it I'll return to the dancing.

                          My brat stole my scrunchie last night. He has a routine: grab the thing; wag tail to get playtime; growl and snarl when someone reaches for the thing; hold the thing in mouth until cuddles/scritches/kisses have been received; make them wait at least 30 minutes; give up.

                          So smart! So annoying! I finally managed to distract him and snatched it back up. My gleeful laughter was loud. And smug. So smug.

                          Colder weather means snuggling with the kitten! We use the blanket to hide him from Liam. It doesn't always work...

                            If I'm feeling up to it, I'll start a new dance lesson tomorrow! I'm caught up with the workouts, which is faster than I'd planned, but I pushed through!

                            Liam was in a nipping mood today, which means we all got pinches from his front teeth. Those sting! He was also very playful, so he swung his head around and caught my bruise perfectly. So now there's a bright red mark over the top of an almost healed bruise. Thanks, babe.

                            Best bonus of seeing Bernice? I have sore shoulders from all the push-ups I've been doing lately, and Dad was kind enough to rub them for me. He found a knot I didn't even know I had and it relaxed almost instantly! Before Bernice, that sucker would've stayed for days! Super cool!

                            Now I just need to figure out what I'm eating and/or drinking that's causing irritation in my throat. Nothing like rough coughs bringing up blood every 20 minutes! Anatomy: food and drink go down the esophagus. My body: the trachea is going to hurt now! Just... body, must you?

                                I finally found a favorite workout! God Mode was awesome! And it's so customizable! Loads of fun were had.

                                Scheduling meant no dancing today, but my knee is letting me know that's okay. Less cracking, but it hurts more when it does. I'll take it easier until I see Bernice. I do hope to start the new lesson tomorrow, though!

                                I had banana today and really shouldn't have, but it was. SO. GOOD. It was worth it. The sore tongue, the aching stomach, the uncomfortable bloating. It's all occasionally worth it. Bananas... I love you so.

                                (It was cooked into a granola bar, so not anywhere near as bad as a fresh one, but I still should not have had it. But... It's banana. Of all the things I've gained sensitivity, if not outright allergy, to, bananas are my biggest regret.)

                                Mamatigerj! It's greatly lessened today and I stayed away from everything that could have caused it! Let's hope for even better results tomorrow!
