    Welcome to the Hive

I also just started the vitality program with basically the same reasons (weightloss/corona), good to see another newbee here

Thanks for the welcome! I've been here once before, but it didn't work out because of chaos at home and moving between a lot of different jobs. Now with a bum shoulder from a car wreck a few days ago, I'm trying to get back into everything too

Today killed my arm, but I got through it. Due to the car wreck two and a half weeks ago that dislocated my right shoulder and today truly tested it's mobility. I managed to get through it but after wards my arms were dead.

Working around injury is difficult, look after yourself. Great job getting back on the horse!

Today's was mostly just a stretch day that I forgot about until right now. It didn't take too long and it was great feeling the stretch. Right shoulder still didn't like being moved about, but it wasn't nearly as painful as it was yesterday. I'm being a bit gentler on it than my left, but I'm hoping I don't have to soon.

Glad to see you're getting back into it. Don't sress that arm too much too soon. Make sure you do the stretches slowly and gently so you don't pull too far. I like that you have an immediate goal of 10lbs down - what's your timeframe for that? Best of luck.

TopNotch My timeframe for 10 lbs is about a month. Given I'm just getting back into working out, and my lifestyle has dramatically changed due to the virus--I'm a teacher so I'm used to be on my feet most of the day and now I'm in my chair most of the day instead-- I didn't want to put too big of a goal too quickly and get discouraged by not hitting it. So by the end of Vitality, with changes of diet and other stuff, I'm hoping to be down.

Thanks for advice on the stretching!

Stretching is a great thing, even on the worst days a stretch is always good

Two more days down! Yesterday's was a bit rough since it was all shoulder focused, but I am definitely having less pain in my right shoulder the more I work it. The only motion that still hurts is one where my arm is asked to go up and over my head a little bit (such as with side jacks), but I just do it a little slower and focus through the pain.

Today's was fun. A nice little stretch day. Not much to comment on it. My shoulder hurts a bit from the shoulders back one, but hopefully i didn't over strain it or anything.
