Maybe think of taking gym gloves so as not to ruin your hands with the pull-ups, they avoided blisters, calluses and various pains for me

Thanks for the tip, Fremen, I will keep it in mind when I get the feeling my hands don't like the bar any more Had to take a break today, I think I have DOMs in my upper back and shoulders

With my cut going relatively well, I'm thinking a little about goals. When I started with Darebee, I had the vague idea of 'becoming a bit more fit and healthy, maybe tone my body a little'. Then at one point I thought 'maybe I can get a really fit look'. Currently, I sit at 'I want to lose as much fat as possible (and healthy)' and aim for ~18% body fat, to see how I'll look then. My torso already makes great progress, it looks surprisingly hard and toned, and just today I thought my thighs finally get into the action, too. My arms are still as pudgy as ever, but I'll hopefully get there some day.
And now I'm thinking about what I should do when I'm at 18%. Depends probably on how I'll look then. Fine tune, presumably. But, and here's the thing, I'm not even sure if I want to keep to 'just being a little toned'. I think I want to try and build a more muscular physique, with the things I have at hand (so, bodyweight and dumbbells, maybe resistance bands). So, at one point I want to focus on building muscle. My husband already freaks out, asks me 'why the hell do you want to build more muscle?' and fears I turn into a combat gnome at one point (I'm a bit short and he's afraid I'll turn full fridge-mode).
I'm still thinking about it. Reminds me of another fitness board I frequent, where someone yesterday wrote 'If you start working on yourself, you never feel satisfied and always think there's more to work on. It never ends.'

I guess I have to see how it goes. It's just a soft goal, not really set in stone as of yet. Like I said somewhere earlier, I'm bad at setting goals. Here's my status update for today:

      Today I did:
      - Cardio Go! Day 20
      - Athena's Playbook Day 13

Skipped Splits because I already did well over 700 Side Leg Raises during Cardio Go. Skipped the other challenges because the day was a bit draining, mentally. Tomorrow it's back to my regular schedule.

Hope you all had a marvellous start into the week

There is always the way to drill through the wall and mount it from behind with a threaded bar "Gewindestange". But you need a good amount of dedication for that...... soo, your choice was the right choice...

We definitely need combat gnome and fridge as profile class...

Omg, HellYeah, I would need a veeeery long drill for that. The walls here are around 40cm thick. The problem with bolting something directly onto the wall are the wall joints (no idea if that's the right word. Die Fugen halt). If I drill where a joint is, it gets crumbly and I basically have to start again from the beginning. That's probably the reason why I only have three small shelves on the wall...

And I'm not sure about the 'Fridge' as a class

So, "garden gnome" for those of us who are still young, short and green... and "fridge" if you always keep your cool under pressure and tend to mess with the wi-fi?

"Schrank" is a legit class in every "Muckibude"

There might be some correlation between it and stupid...

Ayoo, back to early-late-night posting, hooray!

With the exciting news that my video card will arrive tomorrow, which will mark my first foray into the wonderful (hopefully) world of AMD. My last card that wasn't Nvidia was still from ATI, a long, long time ago. I just hope the drivers will work alright. And that I can get my PC free of dust. And that the PSU will suffice for the new card. I'm a bit nervous.

I also have found another sign of progress thanks to working out: I can spread my legs more far apart than ever before! (I mean that in a totally not-lewd context. Everything of that). That's pretty big for me, I have the feeling I'm more flexible than in my youth, when I was doing gymnastics. And I can almost put my feet behind my ears now. It's a wondrous thing to do Here's my status update for today:

                              Today I did:
                              - Cardio Go! Day 20
                              - Half Jacks Day 15
                              - Splits Day 19
                              - Knee Push Ups Day 18
                              - Athena's Playbook Day 14 on Level 1 (because I was lazy)

Hope you all had a stupendous Tuesday (yes, I'm abusing the dictionary very hard)

Congrats on your increased flexibility! I am very not flexible when it comes to spreading my legs apart (also not meant in a lewd context!) I don't think I could ever do the splits, even with a ton of flexibility work. But it is exciting to hear that you are more flexible than you were when you were younger & doing gymnastics!
