Wow! This literally is one of my core (pun intended) motivations for exercise, just, feeling bodywise powerful, y'know?

Now I think that if your sensation of walking has improved, that means your walking has also changed, maybe visibly. So, please ask your husband if he recently has seen you walking like a model (probably this is the case)

    Happy streak, girl!

      Thank you, MoreSlimThanAQuesadilla.
I asked my husband, but his answer was as I expected it: "No idea. I don't take not of how you're walking." (He's not inattentive, just bad at remembering stuff when I ask. Usually, he says things directly when he notices them).
To be honest, I probably would never walk like a model because I possess the grace and elegance of a construction worker (apologies to all the graceful and elegant construction workers reading this). But I can say for sure that I walk more erect, more... self-assertive? Or, to be extremely cheesy: I walk more like I 'own the world' (uaah, I feel queasy typing that out). You probably get what I mean. Do you get what I mean? Probably.

Yes it was 😊 traditionally we should go 'dew cycling' , but I thought I use the day off to get some extra sleep in the morning. Hope you had a great day!

Oooh, in that case I wish you a happy remaining holiday and hope you had a great day, too!
Here this holiday traditionally is Father's Day and when I was younger we always went "Backfischessen" (eating fried fish). And I think fathers often take a handcart full of beer to go drinking with other dads Not today, though, probably.

I'm sure there are some construction worker models somewhere! 😁

Hopefully I won't have to do this handcart-beer-thing if I ever be a father.

Well, construction worker outfits are very popular in photographs of the more... erotic kind, at least
But I'm pretty sure there are some construction workers out there that possess very fine body control and thus, by proxy, elegance and grace

My own father never did this, so I guess you'll be in the clear

Lazy day with lots of writing and working out today. I think it also was fairly warm weather outside, but I never put a foot on the other side of the door so I wouldn't know. Had a lot of fun watching the Greek man who lives in the flat above us starting the barbecue outside in the garden. He took one hour and two bottles of barbecue lighter to get everything started and then it took him another our to cook all the meat. Very amusing. But I guess they had fun and the food was good, so it probably was a win-win for everyone (myself included).

And now, for something completely different. My status update for today:

                Today I did:
                - Good Morning, World! Day 6
                - 1 Minute Cardio Day 6
                - Wall Push Ups Day 6
                - Power Walk Day 6
                - 30 Days of HIIT Day 12 on Level 1 (I think it was Day 12)
                - 60 Days of Cardio Day 42 on Level 3 (pure murder!)
                - Power Grip Day 6
                - Piece Of Cake on Level 1 with EC
Hope you all had a wonderful day

Thanks! Here Father's day is the 3rd Sunday in June. Funny how things can differ, only a few miles away. Yesterday was Ascention Day for us.

Funny story: I went to university in Bremen. The people from Bremen take the Vatertagstour with the handcart full of beer very seriously (same for the Kohltour, which is pretty much the same thing, but with food at the end). When my now husband from Nuremberg came to Bremen for the first time, I didn't realize it was Vatertag and we went out for a walk. There were drunk people with handcarts everywhere, we probably saw 20 groups during a short walk. My now husband got an excellent first impression of Northern Germany

Nebulus nice song, haven't heard The Prodigy in a long while. Thanks for that! (and very fitting )
sleep_twitch I always thought that tradition is universal in Germany I hail from the Rhein-Main-Gebiet originally and it was a pretty big thing there. Never thought it would be different in Bavaria. (But then, rumours say Bavaria isn't really Germany but a dimension all of its own...)

Today was pretty good, did all my work-outs, got in a bit of writing, faced the dilemma that two of my stories have an atmosphere that make them better suited to be written when it's dark outside (I'm peculiar like this). So either I'd get a grip and ignore the light conditions outside or I have to cycle through them. Maybe at one point I should get back to sleeping throughout the day and working throughout the night (nah, probably not).

Quite happy so far, only my bass needs bit more love again.

                        Anyway, status update:

Firing up my writing program I just realised I have a different kind of streak to celebrate. As of today, I've been writing at least 1,000 words (most of the time more) for 60 consecutive days. Hooray!

I used to write fantasy or post-apocalyptic that was heavy on philosophical stuff and drama, but that always pulled me down and never got finished because I aimed for epic proportions (and I always thought about what others would think about what I write)
These days I write for fun and for myself and currently more contemporary stuff (aka, stories set in a time where smartphones weren't a thing yet, around the year 2000).
