    Day 147 - May 26, 2020
216 lbs. (Down 4 lbs since last check-in, about 1.8kg)

    Goals:
Drink 72 oz of water at a minimum per day.
    Log my food
    Lose 1 lb. a week

So my last post was about 4 weeks ago. I stopped exercising, stopped logging food, stopped tracking my water, and stopped losing weight. This last weekend was great! I got to see friends I haven't seen since last year. We ate lots of food and drank more than usual. We also swam, hot tubbed, cooked for others, and stayed up late talking. Somehow in the last 5 days I dropped several pounds. My friends were very supportive in how much weight I have lost. Overall, I am down 34 lbs. I got to show off my belt with lots of new holes punched in it and they oooed and ahhhed. I have started tracking my food again and logging my water. I am still not ready to start exercising again but trying to move towards that as well. So, I am here and I am ready to go again! I missed you, bees!

Great thinking with rewarding exercise with a fun leisurely activity! I hope it works for you! Great job keeping up with your program this week Please don't be too hard on yourself, sometimes getting fitter just comes at the expense of weight loss on the scale, but fat loss/muscle gain can still be going on and the scale won't tell you that. Getting fitter is the best part!

    Day 123 - May 2, 2020
220 lbs. (Actually up .4 lbs, about .2kg)

Drink 72 oz of water at a minimum per day.
5 Workouts this week - finished Day 25 of 90 Days of Action
I was less careful with my food choices and didn't log as carefully as I would like.
     Lose 1 lb. a week

This was another blah week. I went up another 0.4 lbs. I didn't track my food and didn't feel like exercising. I do not want to go up any more so in addition to not keeping tempting left overs in the house, I am going to get out of bed when my alarm goes off. I have found that I am staying in bed longer in the morning, playing an app on my phone, checking emails, and reading the news. The amount of time has crept longer and longer and effects my desire to exercise. So, out of bed, exercise, then I can play on my phone as a reward. Let's see how it goes.

Good things that happened this week:
I have completed Day 20 of 90 Days of Action
    I posted this week

Hope this post finds you well and active! Keep grinding Bees!

    Day 116 - April 25, 2020
220 lbs. (Actually up .4 lbs, about .2kg)

Drink 72 oz of water at a minimum per day.

     Lose 1 lb. a week

Well, it finally happened. I gained weight this week. I would love to be able to tell you it was muscle... but it wasn't. So here's the story: I love pizza.
We have not been eating out during these trying times and I have been craving pizza. So this week, when I had the opportunity to get carryout, I ordered my usual order and it was great. Like "normal" I ordered enough to eat the first day and have left overs for 2 more lunches. So I ate a high calorie, high carb, high fat food for one splurge meal and 2 more lunches. And I dipped it in full fat ranch dressing (don't judge, it's a southern USA thing). So here is what I learned:

    * If I eat what I have always eaten, I will gain weight like I always have.
    * If I order what I am craving, I must alter the amount.
    * One meal is acceptable, leftovers are a roadblock to my success.

I also struggled with a lot of thoughts this week like "I don't care," "I don't want to," "Ehhh," and "Oh well." I just seemed to lack motivation and focus.
So, in an effort to regain motivation...

My next mini-goal is to lose 5 lbs before Memorial day weekend (May 23-25). I will (hopefully) get to see several friends over that weekend and I would love to be down to 215. I also need the extra incentive right now.

Good things that happened this week:
I completed 30 days in a row of working out and got the achievement
I have completed Day 20 of 90 Days of Action
    I posted this week

I hope this post finds you motivated and eating well. If it doesn't, you're not alone and we can do this. I still can't seem to change what I eat but I CAN change what I order and what I have in my fridge. Keep grinding Bees!
