That negative pullup challenge looks like a good idea. Have you seen any gains on overall pullup number?

I'm really not good yet at pull-ups but I have seen improvement in the time I can dead-hang and the speed of the downward motion has slowed a bit. I can also hold in the top position for a bit longer. That, of course, is just me. Other people will see different improvements, depending where they already are.

I'm sure there was something wrong with today - a glitch in the matrix or something; it was just over too quickly! We had an appointment at 11:30 to check out some kittens, so we set off at 10 (it was just over 100km away). It was a much cooler day today so driving wasn't bad. We got there with 9 minutes to spare but we could go in. There were about 14 or so kittens - WAY too much kitten cuteness in one room!! I had one daughter with me to choose hers and I was to see if there was one that was just IT for the other (I was to text photos). And I found one. Must confess that if I hadn't already had Footprints, I would have had this one:

Other daughter decided that this one's sister was her one - she's a little short-haired calico. Another long journey home (seemed longer!). Later at home, discovered that inside the sofas are some lovely little shelves just right for kittens to crawl up onto and hide, and the only way to find them is to turn the sofas upside down. Got bored of doing that after a while! What with all the furniture turning-over and the car trip, it was a surprise to find it was time to make dinner - though I did get out and grab the new chooks before they shot off somewhere for the night. Trouble had already jumped the fence and was roaming around the back yard. Fortunately she's easy to catch - hmmm...

You need a better fence for those chickens!
And maybe a fence-like sofa skirt too.

I had a kitty when I was little that would climb up into the wheel well of our Volkswagen Beetle. One day, she crawled up there unbeknownst to us, and we drove into town, where she decided to get out. And, not to get back in before we left for home....we never found her. She was not the brightest bulb in the shed, however. She had already previously been caught by a police dog in the neighborhood and shook so hard her diaphragm was ripped. My mom was not sorry that she was gone....🙄

Rainbow Dragon The chickens live behind a 2m high chain-link fence. Not sure what else I could do - apart from razor wire! Anyway, after pulling the chooks off the washing line tonight (forgot to get them in before sundown), I tossed them in the coop with the other girls. Tomorrow it will be as though they had always been together. I hope.
