    Day 37

    Challenges:
    Upper body light (day 17)
    Knee Push-ups (day 28)
    From Walking to Running (day 30) Wow! I really thought this programme would do for me but instead, I crushed it! Okay, maybe not exactly crushed - a little wrinkled maybe? During the third set of running, I seriously thought I wouldn't make the fourth. But I persisted because I'm a bit ... determined! And then, when I got Queen playing "We are the Champions", well, it was a sign, wasn't it?! So I continued, and I did it! Yay me!!
    No Salt (day 11)
    Splits (day 6) Felt that my legs went a little further down the wall than yesterday.

    DD with EC (#36) Total DD = 37.

    No training tonight because the usual venue was not available. Still, it gives me more time to try to solidify the first pattern in my head!

                  The chief instructor hated us tonight! We had to run for 5 minutes - 30 seconds gentle jog, 30 seconds hard, rinse, repeat. Phew!! I may have mentioned that running is not a favourite pasttime of mine... And then push-ups. A total of 45 push-ups (I include those in the burpees), and Totals had also required 60 (I hadn't done them all - I knew I'd have to do some at training! ). The 2-minute plank was a doddle, though.

                  To We are fighting..., I could add about 400 punches, 60 kicks, and 75 push-ups.

                  And, to make this a Red letter day , I also posted my first photo on DAREBEE. Nothing too exciting - just a couple of sulphur-crested cockatoos. I always think of them as the teenaged boys of the bird world - loud, brash, raucous, unco-ordinated, messy, and careless, but nice to have around. Except in the early morning. Did I mention they are LOUD?!

                    Upper body light (day 19) This one continues to be a killer! Such a simple exercise, my aged granny could do them, but it's the repititions, right?! Wow. Or should that be, Ooww?!!

                    Now that the little lad attends that petri dish known as School, he's given me a cold so I'm feeling a little subdued tonight. Training again tomorrow and it looks like I'll have to start training on Fridays nights again too, so I'd better hurry and get over this!

                                Joe76 Fremen Hinris Rainbow Dragon Miss_Dada Ta muchly, all. You'd think by now after all these wall push-ups and knee push-ups, I'd be a push-up beast. But hey, what??
