    Day 166

    Challenges:
    day 27 Punches and Squats
    day 13 Upper Body Plus
    day 13 Glutes of Steel

    Programme:
    ​ day 36 Hero's Journey What's this? Exercises in the morning? I mean, before breakfast?? Of course, for me breakfast is often optional, but I made sure I had some today so I could say I did my exercises before breakfast!

    DD with EC = 130. Total DD = 131.

    day 26 - Splits app - Intermediate - just didn't have the time for this today but I did stretching in my online class, and then the LS afterwards.
    Leg Stretcher - 4-mins.
    Pattern 6 x 2 - yes, I know, I should have done it more in its entirety but I did have a small focus on some individual parts.
    Self-Defence - Blue 5 and 6.
    Online Taekwondo Training - live hour-long class. What I don't like about these live classes is that my internet often drops out. I had to rejoin the meeting three times in the hour, and one of my daughters gave up on her Girls' Brigade this evening because of the poor connection. But the class itself was fun and we did some really cool drills that I hope I remember because I'd like to do them again some time, just for the fun.

      ​ day 36 Hero's Journey Didn't have enough time to do the weapons, so I'll hold off on the whole day until tomorrow.

      3-Step Sparring - 2 and 3

      Busy day today doing other things. You know you've got a good (home-schooling) project going when your children want to do it - and it's Saturday!

        Programme:
        ​ day 36 Hero's Journey Okay, done s-l-o-w-l-y. And all the Weapons - absolutely splendid day for a walk - big deep blue sky and not a breath of wind. The air was cool on my face but the sun was shining and the temp got up to 12! The 3-minute planks were a bit of a trial, though. I did an elbow plank for the first one so I could still use my hands, but I ran out of lives on the game before the 3 minutes were up! And when you do a hand plank, well, there's no playing possible! Again, that "throughout the day" was ignored so I did all the weights in two sets.

        day 27 - Splits app - Intermediate
        Leg Stretcher - 4-mins.
        Online Taekwondo training - one hour poomsae. Thought I was three classes behind but it turns out I'm only two behind!! This being Grading week, there shouldn't be any general classes posted and I should be able to catch up on all of them before the Friday Grading. Then I have to video myself doing stuff... Not looking forward to that!

          Challenges:
          day 30 Punches and Squats Finished one day early so I can spend more time getting ready for Grading.

          day 16 Glutes of Steel

          Programme:
          ​ day 38 Hero's Journey The target for the punches was easy to reach, but the high knees towards the end were getting to be a bit of a struggle.

          DD with EC = 130. Total DD = 131.

          day 28 - Splits app - Intermediate
          Leg Stretcher - 4-mins.
          Self-defence - Blue 1 and 2
          3-Step Sparring - 4 and 5
          Patterns - 5 and 6

          I had wanted to do another general training class but our internet had been slowed and it took over half an hour just to get the class up and by then I had run out of time to do it, given that the class takes an hour. So I just did the 3-steps another few times, deciding that practising what I needed to do for Grading was probably a little more important than just general training, and the time wasn't wasted.

                          Challenges:

                          day 17 Glutes of Steel

                          Programme:
                          ​ day 39 Hero's Journey Identity crisis: first I'm a bird, then I'm a propeller engine, then I'm a jet! Look at me - I'm flying! Well, come on, arm raises etc are pretty dull unless you can make some sort of game out of them.

                          DD with EC = 130. Total DD = 131.

                          day 29 - Splits app - Intermediate. There are reasons why this didn't get done today.
                          Self-defence - Blue 1 and 2
                          3-Step Sparring - 4 and 5
                          Pattern - 5
                          Online Taekwondo Training - 50-min class. There are still problems with the internet (and my old computer) but I managed to get a class happening - even though I couldn't see it on the big screen but had to play it on my tablet. I'm feeling a little more confident about Grading, but not at all about the filming - the act of trying to get the camera set up so that my feet and the top of my head show at the same time, while moving forward toward the camera. That is going to take some doing!

                                day 1 Impossible Abs Hmm, this one had me challenged. I mean, if Impossible is for the Unwilling, but I am willing to try the Impossible, then can I actually do it...? I did it anyway.

                                Programme:
                                ​ day 40 Hero's Journey With the weights. Erk, my abs! Especially after a heavy ab session in my Taekwondo training too!

                                DD with EC = 130. Total DD = 131.

                                day 29 - Splits app - Intermediate.
                                Self-defence - Blue 1 and 2
                                3-Step Sparring - 4 and 5
                                Online Taekwondo Training - 50-min class x 2. Actually, I skipped the final 5 minutes of stretching of the first class, and the 20 minutes of warm-up of the second as I did the back-to-back so I was still warmed up and did the cool-down stretching after the second class. I did two classes today because I was a couple of classes behind and I wasn't expecting any more classes to be posted this week as it's Grading week and we NEVER have classes on Grading week, but another class was posted with a second supposed to be coming soon so... Still, there was a period of focus on one of the stations of pattern 6 which I'm doing so I was happy about that. But, oh, my abs today!!
