day 25 Hero's Journey Did my three weaons. Whose idea was it to choose three? Oh right, mine.
Took a nice long walk for the Bow - bit of a stiff chilly breeze, though. I was glad when the third set of the Ring was over - seemed to last longer than Wagner's!
DD with EC = 129. Total DD = 130.
Splits app - Intermediate (day 15)
Front kick prep hold - 10 x 10-secs
Front kick hold (using belt) - 10 x 20-secs
Resistance band walks - straight leg
Pattern 6, station 1 - 10 x

Challenges:

Programme:
day 26 Hero's Journey Yuk, burpees. 30 of 'em each set! Whose cruel idea was that?! I didn't get around to this until later this afternoon and I lazily thought, ah, I'll leave it til tomorrow. But I knew that when tomorrow came, there'd still be 30 burpees each set waiting for me. So I set my teeth and got through it. And surprisingly, it wasn't so bad. Not good, mind you, but not so bad.
DD with EC = 129. Total DD = 130.
Splits app - Intermediate (day 16)
Front kick prep hold - 10 x 10-secs
Resistance band walks - straight leg and bent leg (wow! doesn't that really burn the outer thighs!)
Leg Stretcher - 5-mins
Online Taekwondo training - poomsae 60-minutes. Elisabeth couldn't come for the general training this morning so I did one of the poomsae classes instead. I'm two behind. I'm glad I only read her text when I was wondering why she was late. I was already in my dobok, you see, and that made it a lot easier to just do the poomsae class.

Programme:
day 27 Hero's Journey I must be pretty damn dangerous if someone sends seven assassins after me! Fortunately they came at me one by one, and (also fortunately) the final one was so tired from the waiting that I was able even to wipe him out. I think, though, in a comp, a few of those last side kicks would have got me some deductions for being too low!

day 28 Hero's Journey With armour.

Online Taekwondo training - general 50-min class. Elisabeth couldn't make it again today so I did all my other programmes close on this class' heels and everything was over and done before lunch.
With the leg stretcher, I've been counting the number of turns of the wheel to check my consistency (and 29 turns seems to be full side splits). Today I was interrupted while counting but thought I had counted correctly anyway. I was surprised at how inflexible I was today - and just after the splits app too! I was apparently two turns less than I had been yesterday.But when I wound it back in, I found I had miscounted and I was actually one turn more than yesterday! I wound it out again to check and yep, that was so.
