Well, you could be overstating it just a bit! But ZR really is an excellent way to keep people motivated to move because I always want to know what's going to happen next.

      Day 617

      📌 Daily Floss
      📌 Counting Victories

       Programmes:
      - Day 23 Ten
      - Day 7 Core Strength
      - Days 21 and 22 Pathfinder+ Had to do two days today because didn't think I'd be up to doing the walking tomorrow, what with the running training. Quite wears me out, that does! So listened to two episodes of ZR as I strode along the moving pathway - yes, the treadmill. The weather today looked lovely, but the wind chill brought the temperature down such that for most of the day, I would have been warmer sitting in the fridge! Ergo, the treadmill. But the two episodes went on for a total of 42 minutes so I overshot the 30 minutes required. Oh shucks.
       Challenges:
      - Day 21 Touch Your Toes
      - Day 21 De-stress
      - Day 21 Daily Push-ups
Exercise Bike - 10min @ 18mph = ~4.8km. After the walking, I still felt energetic so I listening to Radio Abel and my music and pedalled away.

And for those who need more cat pictures, here's my Footsy on my lap. Oh, and the other one always has to squeeze in too, and generally ends up lying on top of poor Foots - or pushing her off altogether, though sometimes Footsy holds on!

                    Day 618

                    📌 Daily Floss
                    📌 Counting Victories

                     Programmes:
                    - Day 24 Ten
                    - Day 8 Core Strength Planks. Thank goodness - 10 was ab-y enough today! And side planks are easy for me.
                    - Day 23 Pathfinder+ Plus optional subquest. No bears or squirrels this time, though.
                     Challenges:
                    - Day 22 Touch Your Toes
                    - Day 22 De-stress
                    - Day 22 Daily Push-ups
ZR 5k training. Ran that last 10 minutes again Quite happy with how I'm going here.

Saw the physio again today. Realised that I hadn't driven anywhere since I saw him last, about three weeks ago! Ah, lockdowns. He's given me another three exercises to add to the Protocol, but if I don't get time for the whole lot, these three have priority. And I thought all I had to do was those three! Brought up a couple of other things. Apparently I have a weak second toe and now I have toe exercises to do - two minutes of banded "toe push-ups"! Who'd have thought? Then I mentioned that my left wrist is still very weak. I broke it two years ago, and aside from getting it strong enough to do push-ups again, I fear I've kind of neglected it, but yesterday's up-and-down planks reminded me. I never go up on the left because I'm not strong enough there (though I can hold a one-armed plank and such), so now I also have a wrist-strengthening exercise to do. Phew!

I wish you a good recovery with those physio exercises! Surely they will hel you getting back to your od self! 💪

                        Day 619

                        📌 Daily Floss
                        📌 Counting Victories

                         Programmes:
                        - Day 25 Ten
                        - Day 9 Core Strength
                        - Day 24 Pathfinder+ I had all my planning done and then, due to the running training, did two days together, which screwed up the planning. I ran yesterday and I have to run tomorrow (with the ZR training) so I'm not running today!
                         Challenges:
                        - Days 1 and 2 Touch Your Toes Started again to keep Fenye company, but she was a day ahead of me because she started yesterday so...
                        - Day 23 De-stress
                        - Day 23 Daily Push-ups
Exercise Bike - 33 min, 15.77km. Listened to The 13th Runner (from the ZR suite), which was a 33-minute episode. Ten minutes in, I remembered that I wasn't supposed to go so long on the bike yet, but as I had started I couldn't just stop! Besides, that was a few weeks ago - things might have changed since. Anyway, I'll find out tomorrow how the leg feels.

But if the leg's sore tomorrow, it might not just be because of the cycling... The poomsae coach sent through a challenge: 10 burpees, 10 squats, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups - 10 sets. We could either beat his time (yeah, right, just over 11 minutes! ) or do it 5 times over the week. That's 500 burpees... I found I couldn't shoot my legs out backwards with the burpees without the hammy yelling at me, so I had to step that bit. But did I feel invigorated after all that? Nope, not at all, just absolutely knackered! Still got to do it four more times.

I blame the time difference 😂

Good job working out! 💪 Don't strain yourself to much tho!

                               Programmes:
                              - Day 26 Ten
                              - Day 10 Core Strength
                              - Day 24 Pathfinder+ Ran to ZR S2M2 - We Used to be Friends. I'll never trust Nadia again! I increased the speed again, just by a little bit, and I told myself that after 5 minutes I could turn it down, but then that 5-minute mark came and went and I continued. Not for the whole 20 minutes - not yet. Two sets, with minimum of 10 minutes running, with walking either side as warm-up and cool-down.
                               Challenges:
                              - Day 3 Touch Your Toes
                              - Day 24 De-stress
                              - Day 24 Daily Push-ups
ZR 5k training. Wk2 WO3 - 32 minutes. As said earlier, I decided to increase my speed a little. My machine is in miles which is incovenient, but I started at 3.7, moved it to 3.8, and now I'm going at 4mph - or rather, 6.4k changed from 6.1k. Not a huge increase, but an increase nonetheless.

I was just totally bushed today. At 5 in the afternoon, I could have gone to sleep! So my coach's challenge didn't get done today. Besides, my lats hurt from all those push-ups! Counting the ones in the burpees, that was 200 of them yesterday! One of my physio exercises needed a band attached to something high. The physio had forgotten to give me one long enough so I dug out my exercise bands and found that using two of the strongest ones was right for that exercise. But having dug them out made me want to do Bandit- except I was too knackered. Maybe another day.

Had to move the mats in the exercise room. Normally they are set out in a 3x5m rectangle, and I practise my patterns (and etc) on them going up the 5m way, but we have to do video grading again and there is no place to put a camera at the far end of the mat. There was not enough room to do the pattern across only 3m, so I pulled off the 3 mats from the end and put them along the side. I can position a camera just outside the door, looking into the room, and that should be all right. I've practised the pattern a couple of times that way to make sure there is room. We have been advised that we have to do the highest pattern we know - which for me is Taebaek, even though I should still be grading on Koryo and haven't been graded on Keumgang yet (though I did show I could do that one last grading). Taebaek is hard. After all, it's the third dan pattern. Got to submit the video by Sunday...
