Workout Log: Nov. 5, 2021: Exercise of the Day (60 seconds Squat Hold Punches) completed with EC Daily Abs Challenge Day 5 Ironborn Program Day 6 (I forgot to mention earlier that I'm using 20-lb. dumbbells as my standard weight, although there are some exercises, namely those targeting the deltoids, where I need to use less weight).
Workout Log: Nov. 10, 2021: Exercise of the Day (30 Deadlift and Twist) completed with EC Daily Abs Challenge Day 10 Ironborn Program Day 11 (I had a hard time keeping my balance with the single-leg deadlifts, especially doing them as the illustration showed with the dumbbell on the same side as the raised leg, but I managed to get through them.)
I found the same thing. It's easier to counterbalance with the weight in the other hand. Perhaps that is why it's not done that way! I think there had to be a great core focus to maintain that balance. Myself, I counted: one, two, thr-oops, don't count that one, three...!
